Anybody can figure this out?
 

I want to use my laptop as a "hotspot" using my Touch's internet connection. I configure my laptop to broadcast internet so any device with Wi-Fi can share it's internet connection. I use my Touch to tether. It worked on ethernet but not on PAM. Is there something that I'm missing in the settings? When I set the Phone's local area connection to share it says that I'm using the same IP so I cannot use it. Anyone?

I use XP media center and I don't use any software. I configure the settings on the network connection.

Lol his noob he doesnt know what ur talking about but i know what ur trying to do Try that but insaid of sharing it with ethernet use the usb connect under network connections hope this is what ur talking about YouTube - How to turn your laptop into wi-fi hot spot

Yes that is what exactly I'm doin. But like I said, It only works for the ethernet but not the USB Connect on the phone. I't says that I cannot share it coz it's using the same IP as the Hotspot.
