Is this possible?

Ive been wondering this for a while, would it be possible to have a right 2 left gesture to open the settings page from the homescreen and a left 2 right to open programs page? Can gestures be recognized from homescreen.I think theses shortcuts would be nice to help eliminate use of start menu/less clicks to open. If this is possible would it be easy to have the page animated(slide in from side of screen).I would appreciate someone looking into this, if i had a pc i would look into it myself but i dont have access.

I dont have the htc cube or any other plugin that uses gestures my only plugin is pocket digital clock. thanks to anyone willing to help

You're looking for ftouchflo and ftouchflo config. If you JUST want right to left, go through in config and erase everything but right to left (disable scrolling as well if you dont want it, but you'll find it's nice) and in right to left click the button with the ellipse (...) and find whatever program you want to open.
