two iphone like programs
 

does anybody know where i can find a program that will let me view pictures by scrolling like the iphone??? and, i need the same thing but for contacts, something that is not pocket cm???

i dont know what to tell you about the contacts but try searching for htc album or slide2view.

for contacts, iContact. the only problem with iContact is if you add a contact while it is running, it doesnt add the new contact to the list which means when you press a contact, they are shifted out of order by one name. So you have to soft reset or kill the iContact process and reopen. But other than that iConact is the best contact scroller i think IMO.

I personally use PocketCM. It lets you scroll just like the iphone through your contacts. Has tons of skins for it that people are constantly making.

For the picture viewer get HTC Album. It takes a little bit to get the hang of it. Like when its zoomed in to a pic. If you dont want to scroll through you have to hit the bottom center of the screen just right. Very clean looking though.

i like iContact because it loads fast and has a clean interface. Right now I'm trying out VITO's FunContact because I'm using it with VITO's SMS-Chat.

As for PocketCM, it's a great program, but it never really appealed to me.

And S2V is a great program by A_C

I don't know about it being like the iphone, but for contacts my vote goes to Finger Friendly Friends (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=14076).

Am I missing something? I have S2V and I love it but I have not been able to rotate or zoom any of my pics...what am I not seeing?

WOW Disregard I found it on XDA I feel like such an idiot...S2V is now my only Picviewer...If A_C adds slideshow ability and the ability to delete the pic you are viewing it will rule!!!

To Zoom: Press Up on DPad. Double Tap the Screen and Zoom's to original size.
To Rotate: Start on the screen as 9 oclock and swirl your finger to 12 oclock. Will rotate the picture.
