Fingerprint Lock

OK I was just nosing around the other guys forums after a google search for a biometric fingerprint lock for phone and saw that iPhony has one already...

OK, now is there anyway to take the file Fingerprint ID sensor from the HTC P6500, and work it into the Mogul?

no that's a piece of hardware lacking on the touch pro

the screen isn't sensitive enough to register the ridges of a fingerprint. and the fingerprint sensor from the p6500 isn't on the mogul. sry. yea, it'd be cool if it could happen

It would be cool to integrate this with pocketshield or another locking system. To people tryin' to pry, it would look real but to us we would know that it's not. It would be great to see people trying to "hack" into your phone! HAHA Anyone wanna try?

What?! just wtf? if this actually has any significance then I didnt see it. Just.........anyways, what if we made this like slide to unlock like you put your thumb on the print then slide it down. that would be cool.

biometric sucks anyway, this is how I punch in everyday for work and half the time it doesn't even read my finger, other times I have to push down a bit....

I agree with violent there...

The biometric stuff is so quirky that half the time, we wouldnt be able to unlock it quick enough to answer our phones!
