Complete OS Shell makeover

I was wondering if there was anything out or in production that completely remakes the WM Shell. I like that windows style menus and stuff but with a touch screen there can be so much better. The cube that everyone is playing with right now is a good example. Is it possible to make that cube the main menu on the phone instead of a secondary menu. I looked at some of the phones that are coming out soon from verizon and they all have sweet looking menu systems that look nice.

I like the windows menu system but it isn't very finger friendly. It is hard to tap on the windows icon for the main menu and even harder to tap on the items within the menu. I just think that there would be something cooler and more efficient on the market.

From a software perspective, check out WisBar Advanced Desktop. It's a highly customizable application that let's you "remake" your pocket PC experience.

I guess SPB Mobile Shell would also apply. I'm trying to figure out the best to buy...

im talking complete makeover....like a new menu system of some sort. I like the cube thing that comes on _______(can't remember the phone it comes on) but it would be cool to have similar to display other stuff.

For instance, if you were to add something to the cube to not only display buttons but to also display your tasks and calendar stuff. Then make the cube the main phone display so when you power it on you see your today (or whatever you want to display at first) and then you can swipe to the left or right and display the next part of the cube. That would be awesome. Or to mimic some of the other phone's (non-ppc) menu system would be kind of cool.
