I'm trying to save money on my phone bill
I am trying to save money on my phone bill. I pay 110 a month. I have a smart phone with unlimited text. But other than that I have the lowest number of minutes, and I was told that if I switch from unlimited data to the lowest plan I would save 1 dollar a month. So, I was wondering if anyone had some tips, secrets, or discounts to help save me money on my phonebill. I am a verizon user but would be willing to switch carriers since my contract is expiring. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: I'm trying to save money on my phone bill
t-mobile has a $30/month plan with unlimited text/data and 100 minutes. Would likely be your best/cheapest plan if the coverage works with you
outside of sero, I consider that plan the best so far for any phone company. even better than my sero honestly, I just can't talk myself out of sprint because I don't really care for a newer phone and sprint's voice coverage is good here so I need it more than I need better data speeds |
Re: I'm trying to save money on my phone bill
I got the Boost Unlimited Shrinkage plan, with a basic POS phone. The plan starts at $50 per month.
Every 6mo when you've payed your bill on time, they knock $5 off the bill till you reach $35 a month. I then bought a used(SPRINT ONLY)HTC Touch Pro II.It came with XDA-Wifi-Sharing already loaded. On Ebay there is a guy that charges $20 to port/flash your phone to Boost.Use the search feature and input the phrase"flash touch pro2". You send him phone #,and info he ask's for,and within 24hrs he sends the codes, and full diy instructions to input. After this is done the TP2 will be fully functional. I did this awhile back and now have unlimited 3g talk, text, web, and wifi hotspot for $35 per mo.. I hope this helps out. Matt |
