BG4ALL + HDWALLS + Start Menu
 

I'm running Energy 28005 Leo m2.5 w/ bg4all + hdwalls + landscape fix... The bg4all works great for the slider tabs but the screen for the start menu is still the stock one from the rom. Is there a way to configure bg4all to also change the background for the start menu??? This would be great cuz it kinda looks goofy when I'm in the start menu and only the top and bottom bars are the bg4all background and the start menu is different.

Go to> Settings > Today > uncheck HTC Sense > check Windows Default > Hit OK, return to home screen. Then set a new Today screen background (the image you want to appear in the Start Menu) for the Windows Mobile Today page, by going to Settings > Today > check the "use this image" box and select pic.
Then Return to the HTC Sense interface and your Start background should now be what you changed it to.

yup, that works...now, how would i add pictures to the list that i selected the background image from?????

Just put them in the wallpaper folder, in Documents I believe, on your devices' main storage, or on your storage card, or whatever folder you want them in. You can then browse any folder when selecting your picture, or use the "Pictures and Video" shortcut to select a new one from anywhere on your TP2, through the menu option.

That doesn't work with the .cab files for HDWALLS... where does the .cab file put the image files on the device???

No, that doesn't work with the HDwalls. The HDwalls pictures become manila files in the .cab actually.

So I would have to take the original pic that the cab was made from and cut the top and bottom off and apply it as the background???? No other way???

Yes you could use the image that the .cab was made with, but you do not need to cut the top and bottom off. Every picture I use for the Today(start) background is 480x800, the bars would just overlay it, if you have them showing.
