on the "side to side" pages and the home page, you should be able to add any widget or shortcut you want. it is simply another ui and does not require titanium or manila. so you could cook a rom without those ui's, then install this one and be good to go. personally i am probably gonna try this on a 6.1 rom, 6.1 is just so much more light weight than 6.5 (with respect to program memory). however i like the looks of 6.5's menu's and such, hence why it takes more memory. i think i am more stoked for this than i am christmas, haha... |

The Icon themes can change the entire look of TouchOne, so it looks great with 6.1 or 6.5. I'm trying to get a sense UI theme and an iPhone theme ready for saturday.. if time permits. I am going to be switching back ot 6.1 after saturday... all I ever use the start button for is to get to system settings anymore. P.S. EDIT: remember... we are not going to have a "drag" style of repositioning for shortcuts and widgets.. it is more of a press+hold to select and press+hold to place. Re: [APP][11/21/2009] TouchOne 0.1.3a - (WVGA/VGA/QVGA/WQVGA)
i had mentioned a while back that i was having issue's with having touchone automatically boot up. it would but up as it should but would run incredibly choppy. only booting the rom THEN enabling touchone would allow it to run smoothly. well that was a custom rom, so at one point i had to go back to stock and tried it on that. it worked perfectly. then i went to mightys (12/6/09) rom and tried it on that, only to find the same choppiness upon boot.
if i have to go back to stock for this i will. i am truly baffled by this as the custom roms are clean as a whistle when i try andding touchone. first sdkcerts, then .net3.5, then touchone...no other custom programs or ui's to conflict. any idea if this will occur in the 0.2a? |

I have done alot to streamline and clean up alot of the rendering. My bet is you will not see that issue. Maybe in random situations... but nothing persisting.
There was a rendering bug that I did find about 2-3 weeks ago that was killing the performance, and that has been fixed since. |

i have even started dabbling in programming, starting off with the basics, so that i can learn how to make some widgets, haha. and i've got photoshop ready to whip up some themes...can't wait EDIT: i just had to upgrade to a 64bit system, sigh. the winmo sdk will not work for it, i keep getting an error when trying to load the cellular emulator. guess no widget coding for me. maybe one day i'll break down and swap back to 32 bit...damn...
