How so? This should only affect the start sequence. The image and sound are unloaded from the system memory after bootup.

I tried this a few weeks ago. The animation is ok, but I don't like the start up sound. The registry entry doesn't kill the Phoneon.wav for Sprint so you end up with two startup sounds. I prefer my Start Trek startup...
