SPB Mobile Shell
 

Has anyone loaded SPB Mobile Shell and got both the SPB AND Touchflo to work together?

I have tried a couple different things with no luck.

search the forums...you'll need TF detacher, and Second today...its been done

yes I have and they both work perfectly. the only issue is that once spb is installed and you want to view your origional pages you need to go to the start menu and pick your page. Hope I helped

Yeah i have both wonking perfectly, after you install SPB Mobile Shell, open your File Explorer and go to DEVICE - WINDOWS - STARTUP and remove spbhome to a diferent folder, that way next time you start(soft reset) your device TouchFlo will start first, then you can start SPB Mobile Shell manually just create a short cut of spbhome. Good luck.

HEy I installed the SPB and when I try to delete my call history it wont let me.. is this happening to anyone else.?

I did this and the Touch flow did come up after soft reset but now when I try to go back to SPBHOME manually it wont go..

I tried SPB Launcher ... but still having problems... now its goes to SPB but when I slid on spb it automaticly goes back to Touch flo...

SPB Shell 3.5 is working perfectly 4 me. Only issue is I can't assign individual contacts with different ringtones. It defaults to the default tone. Any ideas?

Yeah... i have tried a few different things. I can't get SPB and TouchFlo to work together consistently. It is hit and miss... then I throw iG08 into the mix and everything gets really messed up. I am just running with SPB 3.5 for now until i can figure out what is going on within the OS. oh joy.

Something else, when TFdetatcher and Second Today are both running, it works ok for about 5 minutes, then if I try to open another program, I get a "memory error"... let the fun begin.

This is a known issue on the spb forum. However I think you will find that although the default ringer plays through on the MS ringtone select screen, the actual ringtone you associate with the contact will come through in an actual call.

why would you want both? mobile shell is faster and better than touch flo ever is going to be

Mobile shell 3.5 has taken my mind off of the anticipation for wm 6.5 /manilla upgrade. Since I installed it I really don't care about tf3d anymore. The only thing I sort of miss is the Facebook status updates via tf3d, but I have a widget to m.facebook that yeilds better info anyways. I bet the SPB guys will come up with a solution soon though. They seem to know their competition and development of the shell is ongoing. I was really impressed with the new tf3d but it seems geared to selling their hardware rather than for customization to the needs of the individual.

im runnning spb 3.5 and u do this in the contacts carousel u can edit pic or change ringtone for each contact u have hope this helps ya out
