S2U2 has always been buggy for me so I went w/ PocketShield instead. Is there any easy or feasible way to make a pimp wallpaper/theme that would work on PocketShield?

I got the same error when trying to install to my device. It would however install to my card, but after a soft reset, the comm manager is all white. Do I need to have the "background on all screens" cab installed?

Well crap, the comm manager is still all white even after an uninstall and soft reset.

Should be noted that one needs to shut down the Comm service before trying to install something over it. When not using a custom rom permission issues are a problem.

So get a task manager and stop the comm process then install should be all set

DOh! Thanks for the tip...live and learn. I did a system restore to a few days ago and am in the process of re-building. I'll try shutting down the comm process first. :mrgreen:

Good to know. However, when I open Task Manager it shows nothing at all running. I even tried disabling TF3D to no avail. Do I need to get a different task manager to kill the comm manager?

I think we need a 3rd party Task Manager. If so, can anyone recommend a good one to buy? Any good freeware ones?

Thanks, that worked great.

One thing, I used to be able to go into the comm manager and click on phone and it would take me to the settings so I could switch to roaming only. Now when I tap phone, nothing happens and I have to go through the settings tab at the bottom. Is there anyway around this? I guess it doesn't really matter, just force of habit I'll have to break.

I'll try signing the cab and see if that fixes these issues. Wont have time until tomorrow night. So use this workaround for now.

Because you installed the home tab cab. Missed calls and calendar is now hidden and only shows when you have missed calls and calendar events.

first of all love your work by far the best Ive seen but I need help have everything working except home screen cant seem to get the wallpaper I had off.I see off to the right yours behind mine but cant figure it out.

Go to the settings tab then click wallpaper...when asked to use default select yes.

I tried it but it puts the navy blue wallpaper with the scribble in the corner one on.the one that comes with the phone.but if i go to a different tab then hit my home button I see yours for like half a second then the default wallpaper comes back.

So...I downloaded this program and when I installed it, it seems to have turned the color of the text and symbols on every screen WHITE. So, I can't see anything due to the white letters. Anyone know how to either get rid of this or change this around so I can see everything? Thanks.

Super close :) all images are done and converted to .ico files. Just need to update 90 or so files in the .dll. The hard part is done.

Hey cmylxgo, I am using your theme, but had a question... Are you planning on changing the orange highlight in the calender page to the blue you showed at http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...3&postcount=1? You are right, the pumpkin orange isn't as good as blue. Great work so far, it's a great theme!

Hmmm....

Ya I prolly should include a blue highlight cab. You could install the that blue theme before any of the items in the thread and then install all this stuff and you should be good to go.

Awesome! All I had to do is uninstall the CMYLXGOs.Pimp.Pkg.TP2.Blue.Manila.2.5.Slider.cab first then install that CMYLXGOs.Sprint.Touch.Pro.2.Blue.Theme.cab. After that, just re-installed the CMYLXGOs.Pimp.Pkg.TP2.Blue.Manila.2.5.Slider.cab and the calender stayed with the blue highlight. Thanks! :)

which file results in .dll's? i just put each .cab file onto my phone's storage card and opened them each up. the phone installed everything after that.

I've performed a hard reset and installed this package. Very nice work, thank you.

A few questions:
I no longer have a slider for Sprint Navigation nor the stock ticker. Is this normal?
I attempted to add them back via the Customize Tabs selection in Settings, but that is non-responsive. It does nothing. Is this normal as well?

I went down the list of "Package contents" and where CMYLXGO included a link, I assumed there was a file I needed. Now reading your statement, I think the only files needed are the ones included in posts #2 and #3 is this correct? Oh, and the dialer in post #4.

Where some of my confusion came was some of the cab links listed didn't point to valid files? it was like when I tried to dowload them, they where gone? My TF3D icons still don't look right, so I started looking for something I was missing?
