How to keep resolution of pics after assigning as wallpapers?
I don't know if anyone else noticed this but when you view a picture (800x480) through the Pictures tab on Touchflo the picture looks crisp, clear and detailed on full screen. However when you assign the same picture as your wallpaper it seems as though the picture resolution decreases noticeably and loses it's vibrance. It sucks because everytime I download a picture thinking how great it would look as a wallpaper it really doesn't look that great once you do. I would like to know if there is a hack/workaround to avoid this or if there is a way to create high res wallpapers that don't look lower res when you assign them as a wallpaper.

i notice that too.. i have a 480x800 image .. on my device and it looks grainy

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=85135 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=500178 i get all of my hd wallpapers from this site - http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...ghlight=hdwall they are hd wallpapers and are in .cab format so just download and install. these are really good wallpapers and dont look grainy at all. here is a link to make your own hd wallpaper cabs. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...ghlight=hdwall when i create my own wallpapers using the above link, i get all my wallpapers pics from http://www.zedge.net/ or http://480x800.blogspot.com/ just make sure you are searching wallpapers for the tp2 cause they are resolution specific for this phone. its also a great website to get good free ringtones and sms tones! hope that help! |
