this is a very good program for gaining back lost memory with three levels of cleaning. i tested it and was able to gain over 30mb of lost ram after a day worth of phone use.

Re: cleanram.... a must have program

I used that on my Diamond and it was great. Tried it on my TP2 when I first got it and it kinda jacks up the Bluetooth. It would look like Bluetooth was on but nothing would pair, so I go into settings and it said Bluetooth was off ... try to turn it on and it would just give an error. Only way to fix it was with a soft reset ... which is what that program is trying to avoid. I messed with it for 2 days and finally gave up an uninstalled.

I think the new Bluetooth stack just isn't compatible.

sk tools is useful, but imo their ram cleaner is worthless. never tried mermaid. with cleanram i'm able to get back all lost ram, not just some.

Re: cleanram.... a must have program

So, you don't have a Bluetooth problem with the beta version? I used 1.7. I didn't see any beta version.

Thought my bluetooth device went bad, didn't realize this was the problem. I also don't see a 1.7.5 version, can you please share the CAB?

** EDIT

nevermind, i just ran the update on the phone itself, and found the 1.7.5 version. It is installing now, will post if bluetooth decides to pair.

Re: cleanram.... a must have program

goto menu, click update, after the update search is done click 1.7.5 beta, and you're done

My touch pro 2 is still not picking up the Jawbone prime, any ideas?

* EDIT

It just paired after another soft-reset, works great now.

if you run into any other problem i guess you can try to exclude blue ray by going to to menu/exceptions list, click enabled, move bttrayce.exe to the right/exception box

Re: cleanram.... a must have program

I just downloaded it and when I ran the updater the latest version came up as 1.7.7 beta.
I installed it and it ran great. On the first run it cleaned up 16.85MB.
I grabbed some screen shots from the thread at XDA so you can see what the interface is like. For more info head here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=514333

Re: cleanram.... a must have program

I'm up to 1.9.3, and I still get a jacked bluetooth. I'll see what it does when I put the bttrayce on exception.

Re: cleanram.... a must have program

I would like to install and use this but don't want to run the risk of screwing up the bluetooth stack.

Anyone confirm that moving bttrayce to the exception list actually fixes the issues related to messing up the bluetooth stack?

Thanks.

Re: cleanram.... a must have program

I can say that using cleanRam on EnergyROM Jan 25 with Sense 2.5, it messes up manila so I have to soft reset.

Re: cleanram.... a must have program

be careful. the latest version 1.9.3 killed MaxManilla and wouldn't show the home screen. I reverted back to 1.9.1 and it seems ok now. I hope](*,)
