Must have TP2 GAMES

3 Attachment(s)
I know there is a games section but it is not seperated into different screen categories. But to anyone who has a tp2 there are a couple of must have games in case you're around one of those iphone users and want to show off your phone. These games have great gameplay and look beautiful. I know most of us don't have time to play games on our phones, at least i don't, but they are great demo games to show off the capabilities of the wvga screens. Spider man toxic city wvga and sonic unleashed wvga.

Spiderman toxic city - great wvga graphic game- quick google search-pm me if you have trouble

Sonic Unleashed- same as above

Need For Speed- same as above
Edit:the best way to run nfs is to turn off tf3d and you will not get the memory error

Thanks to quazimodem:

Action Platform Puzzle Game
Archibald's Adventures

Card
RealDice Texas Hold-Em The multiplayer is pretty fun. In fact any of those RealDice casino games are great in VGA.

Adventure/RPG
Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars awesome adventure game with full cinematics and speech. Great to show off.

EA Mobile Clue is another cool/fun game in VGA. Make no mistake, it's only lightly based off the board game. In fact there are other EA mobile titles that are good too... I like Tiger Woods 09 VGA.

pocket uno: attached as attachment
works, fyi its in another language by default but its really easy to find how to switch to english

i just verified pocket nester to be working on my TP2 ..... sweeeeeeeet. (didnt work on TP) just disable GAPI in the graphics tab and it works

chroma games works. tells you to register but i never have because it is the full game, every 10 games makes you wait 10 seconds..... no big deal.
chess backgammon and checkers.. had this since my ppc 6700 and its worked on every ppc i have had since. although the res needs an upgrade its barely getting to the point where its blatantly noticable.
attached to thread.

they are not freeware but definitely worth it if you're tired of seeing the iphone games and wondering why none of the winmo games look like that. you should check your pm

The guys who have NFS working are probably using the standard game as opposed to the g-sen version.

The standard version (which is nowhere near as good) will run on just about any system, the g-sen version (which is totally awesome) has problems (gives the insufficient memory error) with a lot of different ROM's however.

Personally I don't really like the NFS Undercover game because of the control scheme, but the graphics are nice.

Even better is xtrakt, don't use the control scheme they teach you in the tutorial for that one either, much easier to play entirely with the stylus.

The Need for speed I am using does used the g-sens. It works perfectly no memory errors at all. It is the same version as the Touch HD.

I'll will not ever go to Iphonebut the advantage there is a ton of free apps. Someone showd me some song recognition software on the iphone... ( Shazam ) I tried to get it. No longer available for Windows and not even free for us. That sucks. As I use this for work it doesn matter. I love this phone and service. But damn... hackers... make some cool apps for us. The phone can handle it.

I just used music id right now, and it worked perfectly. I do not subscribe to anything nor have i ever subscride to music id. I would post the cab but i believe we are unable to do that anymore for this program.

Just to throw this out there, Need For Speed Undercover should work fine if you install it in on your memory card, that's when it started working for me... And G-Sensor works with the keyboard open...

Re: Must have TP2 GAMES

Everyone talks about this need for speed. Is it worth it? I hate getting jacked for $10 then trying it once and thinking I may have well just wiped my bum with the $10 bill.

Also is there a game like the Bee game that is on the Iphone. My 3 year old stepdaughter is always asking because her dad's stupid Iphone. Gotta get em hooked on WM young.

I came across a free version of Need For Speed, and to be honest it's not all that great, to me, just something to waste time with for me...

Re: Must have TP2 GAMES

xtrakt is the best game on winmo in my opinion... it fits perfectly for wvga screens like the tp2 (on vga the sides would get cropped, but still playable). i believe you can find it in the games section of the software forum (free). if not, i know it's on xda.

here's a vid review of it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gmx2E5IITsg

Open NFS in landscape mode and it should work. It does on my TP2. And you are right.............G-Sen version is what I have and it rocks!

As you can see, this runs on my TP2, so you should be able to run it on yours. I got the same error message the first time I used the game. I did the steps below after that and now it runs great.

Un-install your cab, then re-install. The first time you open it, open it in landscape. Once you do that you will be able to open it in either mode.

If that does not work, open it from /storage card/program files/NFS and run it from there.

I'm getting the same error message. I've uninstalled it and re-installed to storage card, opened it from file explorer, making sure it was in landscape mode each time...I still get the error message. :???:

I hope this works for everyone that is having a problem with NFS. If this does not work let me know and I will dig deeper to find the solution. NFS is to cool of a game not to work!

I have seen that solution posted before & it absolutely DID NOT work for me on certain ROM's in my TP's.

Nothing suggested in this thread got the G-Sensor version of NFS Undercover working on my Verizon TP2. So I soft reset, shut off touchflo3d in today options, and the game worked. Now that touchflo is back on I get the memory error again.

Didn't work for me. Only solution I found (on my Verizon TP2) was to disable TouchFlo3d and set every cache I could find in Advanced Config to the minimum level then run cleanRAM. Then it worked.

I disabled TF3D but can't find Advanced Config anywhere.

Anything other than NFS?

Real time strategy like the old Age of Empires or SimCity 2000?

I have those two... but they don't use the full TP2 screen.
