Delete option on new mail Notification
 

Does anyone know of a way to add a delete option to the new mail notification popup. It would be handy and quicker than having to load the email to delete it if you don't want to bother with it.

ON CHT2.0 there is a mail widget. You can select themenu button the the email widget and select "mark as read"

Well since I am using Titanium that doesn't work for me but thanks for the idea. If I go back to the Energy Rom I can use that but I really like the Titanium rom and plan on sticking to it.

Hmmm It's too bad they don't have the same options as the ones for sms. It allows deleting text messages but no go for email.

No ideas?

I would like this option as well....or atleast a reg setting that would mark it as read after a certain amount of time (do have CHT2.0 loaded with Energy ROM but do not have the Email/SMS widgets loaded on a page; just seem too slow).

I made a mortscript (with RoryB's help) on XDA-Developers which I have mapped to my "back" hardware button. This allows you to delete the email with a single click of this button rather than pressing the right softkey and then selecting "Delete" there.

The mortscript code is:

SendSpecial( "RightSoft" )
Sleep (1000)
SendDown
Sleep(500)
SendCR
