Do you eat every day only cutlets? Even if it's your favorite food? No?
So why do you have the same Sense theme every hour of every day? You don't? You change it often?
Then you are aware of the effort needed to change a theme, or to change a clock or style, or to revert back to the former one.
You know, that you forget which .cab files you installed. You know how sometimes they interfere with other .cab's.
And you know that your Sense is sometimes messed up, and needs a full reinstallation.
If you install CHT (Co0kie’s Home Tab), are you reluctant to install the skinning .cab's for Sense again because of these problems?
And do your system settings not really suit the new installation? And do you need different views and WinMo-Settings at work, at home, in the car, in your spare time, or at night - but there is a lot of manual maintenance needed to do this, and so you make it

all-for-one, not optimal, but without too much effort?

Perhaps CHTS is the solution for you...

http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...1&d=1288991393

Key features:
- Intuitive as possible: CHTS does much in the code, but the UI to configure is made as simple as possible, to get fast into the How-To... for the rest: RTFM ->
Manual for CHTS as zipped .PDF <-

->
new QUICK Manual for CHTS <-

- For all: There is NO permanently running app in background - and that's the biggest difference to the most Scheduler apps - so battery drain almost impossible.. only if you really configure something wrong... ok... I don't know an app, which schedules a complete Layout, Sense-Settings, WinMo-Settings and all the rest in one app... http://media.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/smile.gif

http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...3&d=1288991393

- Profiling your Sense
- Layout saving of your Home Tab
-- all positions/size/items
-- Quicklink outfit
-- Widgets
-- Sense Themes (all Theme creators: read Whitepaper, how to easy add your theme to be saved & scheduled)
-- so: one time .cab installing and then saving - and no more reinstalling this Design-cab needed.
- Assigning Layouts to different profiles!
-- switch them to whatever profile which suits to your current wishes. At work you need Tasks and other quicklinks in front? no problem. In spare time your music player and a totally different outfit? it needs 10 seconds to change it
-- Combine it with all the other following key features
- Power mode adjustable
-- full configurable power modes, how your Porfile should be changed
-- Smooth power on, backlight off, full power, wake up from suspend and revert to it automatically
-- Configurable Timeouted message box to ask you in automatic mode, if you want to switch Profile now or later
-- suppress Message Box for switch to GoodNite or out of GoodNite
-- Vibration feedback adjustable for different actions, so that you always know, when CHTS is doing something
-- Sound enabling if device is in suspend
-- Security mechanism, e.g. like: Automatic postpone of Switch while you're in Call or device is locked
- Wallpaper scheduling integrated in CHT, special made for non-noticeable-battery drain even if you choose very short times
-- initial wallpapers for each profile
-- scheduling seperately for each kind of wallpaper
-- weather wallpaper: Wallpaper depends on the current weather. In 9-pics or 44-pics-mode
-- Mix all this modes like you want: Initial for Landscape, Weather for Lockscreen, Scheduling for WidePortrait and AllTabs... no problem
- Sense scheduling for each profile
-- update times for Weather, stocks
-- update times for new state Quicklinks of CHT
-- Proximity and more
- Data Scheduling
-- switch on/off/let-it-like-it-is for BT, Wifi, GPRS, Radio, Network, Flightmode, Phone
-- Special "Network" switch: Turn off your phone like in Flightmode, but no need for a PIN!!!
-- No Data! So you can diable GPRS for all apps inside a profile
-- Roaming detection and define actions for it, e.g. asking, switching Network on/off, No Data
-- Idle Timeout configurable on your needs in a profile
-- special useful features, e.g. like switching off GPRS, if you activate Wifi manually
- Backlight&Power Scheduling
-- Set Backlight for each profile different. This saves much Energy!
-- Set timeouts, when display shall go off
-- Set timeouts, when device shall be suspended
-- not only the boring timeouts of Sense - now much better values between
-- special settings...
- System Scheduling
-- Define Sound profile - normal, vibrate, muted (as expected)
-- independent setable System and Phone volume
-- adjusting InCall-Volume suitable to your needs in a profile
-- own ringtone
-- special settings, e.g. phone volume down if pickup,...
- Executing up to 3 apps
-- easy to configure
-- computing .exe out of a .lnk to faster settings
-- executed after Sense Restart, if you changed the Layout in this profile.

NEW!!! QUICK MANUALManual!!! also MANUAL as .pdf-File - redesigned by CLHatch!

Click on pic to download the quick manual or/and manual - now you can easier take it with you on your phone

And now the best:
[All this profiles can be set, like you want! So if you only need the wallpaper and data settings in one Profile and you use another app for something else - than just do it. If you only switch Layouts - also possible.

And this can be scheduled in 3 Modes:
1. Manually mode: You have all in your hand. You can see in CHT which profile is active. switch it by Quicklinks or CHTSwitchGui
2. Timeouted mode: You are in a meeting - then you can define a timeout by setting the timeout time or by Date&time and define, to
which mode or profile should CHTS turn afterwards
3. Automatically mode: An easy, intuitive way, you can define your personal rhythm of your day - no need to be think about overlapping times - for each day seperately and fingerfriendly configurable. Please read chapter 4 in manual to learn more.

In CHT you can see the active profile, next scheduled switch and mode and all necessary informations, e.g. like the next wallpaper switch time by little state icons and/or the new resizeable quicklinks of CHT v2

http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...1&d=1288996495
new different styles of App, Quicklinks (all now skinable!) - look in Post #3 here for them

Some more short internal informations:
- no always running app, CHTS only is active, if it is needed because of your interaction or your scheduling settings
- Developed in much different part-Apps in C and C#. The UI-things are in C# with the help of great SenseSDK of ebhoelzer, the control apps are written in C, so they react fast and with a very low footprint

http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...2&d=1288991393
Installation hints:

- Install at the best to main storage

- If you have no CHTS installed: Nothing to consider, just install to Main Storage and start CHTScheduler-Main-App.

- If you have CHTS installed/cooked in: Switch CHTS to manually mode. Also look, that no Wallpaper change is coming the next minute.

If despite the installation can't delete former CHTS, you can ignore it and go on with installation. If it can really be installed (mostly on cooked in ROMs), simply switch off Sense and do a Soft-Reset, then install again and igonore uninstall warning. Seldom, but the same recommendation as you are used from CHT.

To use the CHTS-Quicklinks and -toggles, e.g. for Wallpapers, Forelayer, Backlight, System-Settings - just also apply chts_links...cab - please start CHTScheduler one time before applying them to CHT quicklinks, that they are initialized.

Important:
Please save your Layout as "extended" before and after Installation, so that you have a new Fallback.

It's direct accessable by Menu of CHTS now.
There are so much news in CHTS and so much new Widgets - so it's better to save and use the new Profiles and Layouts.
Changelog 2.15:
At first: ALL KNOWN ISSUES FIXED!

- Great Quicklink-/Toggle-Graphics by santod040 - EYE-Candy on all light/dark/colored backgrounds! Great work - thanx Santod!!!

MUCH MORE CHANGES, IMPROVEMENTS - you will see & feel them...

- NEW CHT-Quicklinks & Toggles:

- CHTS Basic Links:
These are the 4 well-known Links of "CHTScheduler"-category. Anyway I have them here, because here they are named now also by language-file of CHTS. So in next CHT-version they can be left out.

- CHTS toggles:
-- Wifi on Standby
-- Network
-- No Data
-- Proximity on Log
-- chtstate logging
-- -- Auto-Backlight toggle (switches on and off)

- CHTS Profile Jumps
Direct Links to all Profiles -> SaveMyDay-NoData

- CHTS Special Profile Jumps
Direct Links to all "Special"-Profiles 1-9

- CHTS Additional Links:
-- Automatic Mode
-- Semi-Auto-Mode
-- Manually Mode
-- Forelayer visibility (shows or hides Forelayer - you will have fun http://media.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/smile.gif )
-- New Forelayer
-- New Home Wall
-- New Lock Wall
-- New Today Wall (remark: All "walls" won't change the normal timeout - and they only work of course, if you schedule this wall in this profile)
-- Auto Backlight (switches automatic Backlight on)
-- Backlight --
-- Backlight ++
-- Backlight low
-- Backlight medium
-- Backlight high

- POWER & BACKLIGHT-SETTINGS:
-- automatic backlight via Lightsensor (Lightsensor is NOT proximity sensor ), it's anyway the usual Sense behaviour that it's on
-- backlight (10-100%, recommend 20-40%)
-- backlight on AC
-- Backlight off after xx sec/min (and not the ugly Sense steps, now you can choose 20,30,40 seconds
-- Backlight off on AC after xx sec/min
-- Suspend Device after xx sec/min/hour (please look, if too short times interferes Layout switching)
-- Suspend Device on AC after xx sec/min/hrs
-- Backlight Hardware Keys timeout (works not on all devices, ROM-/Device-dependency)
-- Checkbox in Backlight-settings -you can also only set the timeouts without changing the Backlight. (Could be also good e.g. for Lumos )
-- And also Quicklinks for them, like already mentioned.

NEW SETTINGS / MENU:
- New Power Mode "Regular Powering" while changing Layout/Profile. This mode is not compareable with the others. It's a new method, which only prevents in 2 very nice ways the device to be powered: It runs in a half-powered mode, but with Backlight on and uses special WinMo6-Event to keep it alive, that it doesn't stuck while unattended Layout change. Please try it all and tell me, what you see. In our massive test, it was to see, that this mode should also work good for ROMs with stranger Power settings
- Reworked "Full Power Mode" - it uses not only Full Power, it also uses the same Event now to work more reliable for it. But the device is full-powered, too.
- "Regular Power" only for MessageBoxes also as new option.
- In Menu "Layout saving" - now also saving can be for HomeTab or the whole Theme ("Standard" and "Extended")
- new Settings-Options "Folders"

WALLPAPER SWITCHING:
- Initial Forelayer Switching
- Scheduled Forelayer switching
- Weather Wallpapers also for Forelayers
- TODAY Wallpaper switching improved
- Wallpaperr changing also more reliable, also if you change Layout and you set "Ignore Wallpapers" the Forelayer in Layout will not only
ignored - it will also removed. So if you haven't set in this new Profile a Forelayer initial/scheduling/weather, then it's away.
- Random algorithm extended for Wallpaper scheduling. Almost no more repetitions possible... "almost" means: If you have 1 wall only in this
directory... then it will be repeated
- Switch option: Change in Lock without Layout
And this could be a very beloved feature. Indifferent if you have a Layout or not assigned to your Profile - it will switch also if locked -
but only the profile.
Later then - if you unlock - it will switch the whole Profile together with Layout. Also I use a very special powering for it (also depends from "very smooth", "smooth", "regular" and "full") - but in a hidden mode if
locked. So in the most power modes without Backlight (for the experts: unattended mode with some device-specific "D0"'s )
- Switch option: Profile Change Delay Rate
This can be a Value between 1 and 40. Default is 10.
It means: CHTS does the changes for a profile sequentially and this must be controlled. Because if CHTS would do that, in dev-language C would come all changes within 10ms... there would also a HD2 has no chance
So - if you e.g. set it to 20 - the timeouts between the single changes is double delayed and so longer. The settings will last longer to be applied. If you set it to 5, the change will be faster.
Now the recommendation:
Use a longer timeout, if your settings e.g. for Sound are applied to early or if your device isn't fast enough for normal speed. Also for Layout changing it's better to use a longer value (ok... on HD2 also the shorter time is working fine )
Use a shorter timeout, if you mostly only change your Profile without Layout. Or if you change often in locked mode. There are the suspend timeouts others - and so a profile switch can "hang", if it takes too long. So try in this case not only another powering, also try a short value here.
- And also here Quicklinks for the Wallpapers, which are scheduled with your profile.

SYSTEM SETTINGS:
- RINGTONE now chooseable (Folders are defined in settings - for .wav and .wma
- New options (HTC-only) in system-wide settings (volume&Phone) :
-- Quieter ring on pickup phone
-- Ringing louder if device is in pocket
-- Short vibrate, if device is connected for a call
-- Reduce noise in call
(nice option if you have to much disturbing background-noise)

DATA SETTINGS:
- new Data Options for Bluetooth - now "Hidden" and "Visible" seperate options in Initial Data settings-- new Quicklinks and Toggles also changes according to your profile - so you can see, what you have setted

LAYOUT SAVING & RESTORING
- Direct Layout save by Menu
- Save of the Weather graphics - so you can also save Weather skins like Atmosfere for a Layout/Profile
- Faster & Improved Restore

FIXES:
- Bug, that for american-data-format the initial suggested Filename for Layout was not working
- Bug, that unallowed signs for dates were allowed for LAyout-Name
- SD-Card-Names also now can be only 3 letters long, therefore Chinese SD-Cards haven't worked
- Permanent Data Settings for Roaming/GPRSoffifWifi/WifiOnIFPowered now all working more universally
- Adapted opmode-show to CHT final-notification
- ... MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH MORE
Therefore just: No more Issues found while the hard test of great CHTS Beta Team - thanx for all, mates!
General Hints:
- Please also feedback (plz with Device Info) - if something is working good! So we can better compare some things with other issues. And like my parents teached me: A little Thank you for a present is a nice behaviour. So plz just write a line then in CHTS-thread, if something is working fine, too. You mustn't donate - sometimes to say "Thank you" is also as donation appreciated http://media.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/smile.gif
Thanx in advance.
- If you have problems, please tell your ROM- & Manila-Version and also your timezone (12h or 24h)
- Please try the new sound settings and tell us, if they are working. Compare it with the Sense settings, sometimes the taskbar is not reliable enough
- Also please try the different power modes and tell us, which is the best for you and why. So we know, if something above is needed
Known Issues:
- The CHTScheduler and CHTS Basic choose possibilities seems to be double. But there's a difference - the new ones are direct translated in your chosen language.
The "old" CHTScheduler"-Quicklink-Menu will be out in next CHT version.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...6&d=1291247577
*a little forelayer example - design of Bonito77 http://media.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/smile.gif

So - all together I hope, you can save now your Layouts and can schedule them.
CHTS is configured in HomeTab-Layout-Saving by CHT and all the widgets! So if you get a new widget - CHTS is updated automatically!

No need to reinstall or install an update of CHTS for this case.

Only to remind: Please consider the release as first final and you need for this beta versions CHT 2.0 (All Links to CHT and CHTEditor in my signature)

So - I hope you have fun with Switching All-In-One

Not in this version, no.
But there are many things, such as that, planned for future releases.

Re: [-APP-][3-Oct-2010]CHTScheduler 2.01 - profiles,saves&schedules your whole device

PUBLIC UPDATE 10-3-10

Changelog 2.01:

- some nice new features http://media.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/smile.gif
- all bugs, which were posted *should* be soluted
- now really all Settings are by default "not active" - the start profile is always "SaveMyDay" - but also there nothing is active.
Sure - if you already had settings, then they are not lost - so only for new users. If you want to reset also your settings and CHTS is already installed - just delete before let CHTS running the file "CHTSSettings.xml" in your storage card -> "_CHTScheduler" and then run new installed CHTS the first time.

In Scheduling:
- new "input options" -> Copy Monday-Time to Tuesday-Friday or Tuesday-Sunday
- fixed manually Switch of Profile also without Layout
- time scheduling for automatic mode works now as intended (hard job, but now ok in test)
- time prediction is correct now

In Layout/Settings:
- Registry Home of Manila Quicklinks is renewed by Layout change, what means:
-- counteracts the "randomly moving quicklinks" in CHT. You need an assigned Layout (you can use for all the same) - in automatic mode it will be switched anyway - in manually mode just use "Reload profile"
-- No double Links possible because of their movement after Layout switch / refresh (exception: Contact Links)
- New Settings-Option "Don't change Quicklinks" - it's good as temporary mode - the quicklinks are not touched by a Layout change. So if you are about to add new quicklinks, switch this temporary on until you think, it's time to save a new Layout
- New Settings-Option "Delete Icon Cache" - if you use different Icons for your different Layouts, they are now refreshed after Sense Restart. So you can have the most different themes.

In System/Settings:
- new option "OneVolume" - CHTS detects your current state and use it as default. But now - if your ROM/Device can do it - you can toggle between "One Volume for System and Ringer" as well as "Different Volumes for System and Ringer". HINT: This doesn't work on all ROMS. If your device doesn't support it, this features doesn't take any affect.
- new option in Sound profiles "Automatic" - so if a calendar event is active, the internal winmo feature is used, that your device is vibrating. HINT: This doesn't work on all ROMS. If your ROM doesn't support it, then "automatic mode" acts like "Normal Mode"
- In Settings to find: "Reapply Sound after restart" - this means, if you switch your Layout or do a Sense Restart or a Soft-Reset - CHTS will re-apply your Sound-Settings. Sense originally reverts them, but not more no. Please check,if it's working on your device.

In Wallpapers:
- now "initial wallpapers" are working like intended
- wallpaper timeouts over 1 hour made "strange" re-scheduling time - not more now http://media.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/smile.gif

In Powering:
- New Power-Mode "Very Smooth power for switch" - if this is enough for your device/ROM/Profiles/purposes, this is the most energy-friendly mode. Default is still "smooth power for switch". Just try it
- ActiveSync no more accidently disconnected while switching Layout in each power mode

General:
- new Manual as new layouted .pdf-File - thanx to CLHatch for this great design. Now you can easier take the manual with you on your device.
- Thanx to our new great CHTS Group in About Box
- better MessageBox-message to understand, what CHTS want to do http://media.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/smile.gif
- better Layout handling
- faster Profile switching without Layout
- different Lock-States considered
- new shorter, nicer vibrations

- Much more fixes and little features - I have forgotten, which they were exactly - it feels simply better while working in CHTS
So - all together I hope, you can save now your Layouts and can schedule them.
CHTS is configured in HomeTab-Layout-Saving by CHT and all the widgets! So if you get a new widget - CHTS is updated automatically!

No need to reinstall or install an update of CHTS for this case.

Only to remind: Please consider the release as public beta and you need for this beta versions CHT 2.0 (All Links to CHT and CHTEditor in my signature)

So - I hope you have fun with Switching All-In-One

Micha

whoops 1st posted in wrong thread; anyways i tried the link but was dead prolly cause new version w/ fix from 2.01. new version is now 2.02

Re: [-APP-][4-Oct-2010]CHTScheduler 2.02 - profiles,saves&schedules your whole device

OK - uploaded CHTS 2.02 to Post #1.

Sorry for the inconveniences - it should happen seldom, that Baseline causes Freelinks to be not add-able - but the Baseline is your security and so it should work 100%.
Therefore I decided to make this fix.

As a little apology, I added some little features 4 U. http://media.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/smile.gif Thanx to saugbaer and dunc001 for the big help to find it early.

Sorry - and now you can do happy Baselining.
IF you Baselined before - please apply your last Layout, then the freelinks will work again and then install 2.02.

Changelog 2.02:

- FIX of 2.01: If you apply Baseline, then on some ROM's there was no possibility to add Freelinks anymore. This is fixed & tested now.
- Longer delay to apply sound settings, so they are set also after Sense Restart
- Longer delay to apply Sense/CHT settings, so they are set also after Sense Restart (e.g. state mode). Plz feedback with your device name, if delay is now good enough.
- No reapply of random wallpaper after Restart of Sense, if Timeout is not reached
- New settings (often wished and I forgotten in 2.01) : "Restart Sense always after profile change" now activateable in Settings. You will get a timeouted MessageBox, which will ask you, if you really want to restart Sense, so that you are not surprised while e.g. writing a SMS at this moment.
- New settings (because I liked the idea http://media.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/smile.gif ) : "Show current profile name instead of Operator name" activateable in Settings. It works only with Sense Restart... but this you have now also as new feature also if you have a profile without assigned Layout
- Some little changes because of user wishes.

Of course nothing of your current settings of CHTS will be overwritten. Just install.

Re: [APP]FINAL[6-Nov-2010]CHTScheduler 2.10 - Sense/CHT saving&profiling

@All,
2 important hints for soon uploaded CHT 2 final - please remember for each user that:

1. save your Baseline for Cht v2 public beta with CHTS, but only apply it, if something with your installation went wrong. renew your saved Layouts at best after successful installation of CHT 2 final.

2. Don't apply chtstate108f to CHT final anymore. there it is like usual, already integrated.
and the version is there 108g - so you would overwrite the new version. chtstate108g has much more improvements for performance and battery

- Great Quicklink-/Toggle-Graphics by santod040 - EYE-Candy on all light/dark/colored backgrounds! Great work - thanx Santod!!!

MUCH MORE CHANGES, IMPROVEMENTS - you will see & feel them...

- NEW CHT-Quicklinks & Toggles:

- CHTS Basic Links:
These are the 4 well-known Links of "CHTScheduler"-category. Anyway I have them here, because here they are named now also by language-file of CHTS. So in next CHT-version they can be left out.

- CHTS toggles:
-- Wifi on Standby
-- Network
-- No Data
-- Proximity on Log
-- chtstate logging
-- -- Auto-Backlight toggle (switches on and off)

- CHTS Profile Jumps
Direct Links to all Profiles -> SaveMyDay-NoData

- CHTS Special Profile Jumps
Direct Links to all "Special"-Profiles 1-9

- CHTS Additional Links:
-- Automatic Mode
-- Semi-Auto-Mode
-- Manually Mode
-- Forelayer visibility (shows or hides Forelayer - you will have fun http://media.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/smile.gif )
-- New Forelayer
-- New Home Wall
-- New Lock Wall
-- New Today Wall (remark: All "walls" won't change the normal timeout - and they only work of course, if you schedule this wall in this profile)
-- Auto Backlight (switches automatic Backlight on)
-- Backlight --
-- Backlight ++

Re: {{CHT-APP}}{{2-Dec-2010}}CHTScheduler 2.15 - Sense/CHT-Profile-Management

Well my dear friend, let´s not forget about a great feature of this ap, "ThemeSwitching", meaning that we can have several "Themes" and switch them either according to set schedule (or to a specific profile) and also manually when in the mood for a different LayOut or Theme - with CHTS we can have almost "severall" devices in just one. Let´s change the looks of your TP2s with the "touch of a key" within only a few seconds... :toothy10:

Yes sir, which many people overlook, or think they must use more of the app.
Or that resources are being drained because of this app.
It does not run, unless you tell it to and only when you tell it to.
Now with quicklink profile switching, you absolutely can use it as a full CHT theme switcher.
How well we both know the many uses it has and sense saving features it brings. ;)

Re: {{CHT-APP}}{{2-Dec-2010}}CHTScheduler 2.15 - Sense/CHT-Profile-Management

ok so i just started digging into this app and will refrain from the many questions i have (as most are slowly being answered as i spend more time) but i do have a couple questions.

now in chte there is a export feature for settings,is this seperate from all the export settings in chts? this is the order i been doing my backups, want to see if im doing it logically. after a flash i set up all sense and chte settings w/ a complete empty home screen layout. exported chte settings. installed chts and did a save baseline. then i started making homescreen layout and messing with the chts settings. i just saved my 1st layout (day). and i want to make more layouts for nite and work but have another question b4 that...can different layouts have different chte settings (such as differnt pages an levels)? after i get the other layouts done and saved, ill make a chts settings backup and then after that a full sense backup. is that logical, am i missing steps or adding to many?

im not sure i understand the ignore settings in chts

thanks for any help

Yeah, you pretty much got it bud.
You can essentially just use the save Baseline and layout settings from CHTS and skip the CHTE export, but doing both is a safe way to do it as well. In other words, CHTS is made to also back up all reg settings from CHTE for each layout.
So, yes you can have different CHTE settings and different page settings, widgets, themes, etc for each layout you save.
The themes saving is currently being worked on, to be even more thorough, which will essentially save much time, for you when switching themes with your profiles.

The ignore settings, are for any of those elements that you want CHTS to ignore when saving that layout.
So that you don't end up switching a particular element that you want left alone. Some of these, if not switched, can prevent the need for a Sense Restart on profile change.

I hope that helps answer a few of your preliminary questions.
There are many options in CHTS, just don't let that interfere with what you want to use it for. It is meant to cover many different needs and can be used for only what you need from it.

There has also been an Add-on made for it recently, called CHTSLoco.
As soon as we get it operating on CDMA, look for that also, to add the ability to change profile(layout) based on current location as well. ;)

Happy New Year PPCGeekers!!! :snow2::wav:

Re: {{CHT-APP}}{{2-Dec-2010}}CHTScheduler 2.15 - Sense/CHT-Profile-Management

its funny cause honestly i tried it before but was a bit overwhelming at the time. now that i have some some time i wanted to just use to control my data thus giving more battery, in theory. but once i got in, what the heck, changed my sound and backlight profiles and trying out the different walls per profile. so it kinda sucked me in deeper as i understand further what im changing. i havent gotten into different themes per layout but def. like that i can change pages/levels per.

feeling like a noob w/ the ignore settings still thou. automaticly they were/still are checked to the on position. so lets use the ignore wall setting as example, its on, so does that mean it ignores my wall change for each of my 4 profiles? it does take some time to actually switch the wall after a profile change. i dont mind, actually perfer, the sense restart per profile, expecially sense im gonna change the layouts. so what does this mean for me. also i cant figure out why 2 walls on my sd wont be found by chts, as 1 i want for my free time.

thanks 4 the help as always santod

if u have time, is there a way to check my chts settings to make sure there arent any "double negatives" an such? is that accessed via the chtsettings.xml on sd?

Haha, yeah, once you get in there and start understanding what all can be changed, it's hard not to add more and more to each profile. :)

As for the ignore switch, you got the idea.
If you set it to ignore wallpaper, it will ignore the specified wallpaper directory for said profile, upon switching.

As for your wallpapers not being found, are they in the chosen directory for said profile, which you want to use them?
Are they jpeg or png?

Yes, feel free to post your CHTSsettings.xml from the CHTscheduler folder in the Program Files directory. I will be happy to look them over for you.

Re: {{CHT-APP}}{{2-Dec-2010}}CHTScheduler 2.15 - Sense/CHT-Profile-Management

for ignore wall doesnt that kinda defeat the purpose to having different walls for said profile. i only using initial wall for each profile which is different. so what are we ignoring, the directory/settings of chte or chts? sorry i know its me but it hasnt clicked (its never this hard which makes it even more frustrating) i have a feeling its gonna be 1 of those well no shit moments :)

and yea the wall that cant be found is png but i checked and png and jpeg both show just not this 1. i tried putting on device but still nothing. checked the properties and they seem the same as the others that do show up.

thanks

Re: {{CHT-APP}}{{2-Dec-2010}}CHTScheduler 2.15 - Sense/CHT-Profile-Management

just flashed and have some questions bout restoring

on my sd/chtscheduler folder i have folders: baseline, layout 1-4 and chtssettings.xml / chtssettings.xml.beforestore

the rom i flashed is a different wm build but same manila version so what does that mean for my baseline? do i delete old and re-do the baseline?

what is the chtssettings.xml.beforestore? i cant remember if i did a backup of chts settings but would that be the chtssettings?

just for clarification all widget cabs used and all widget skin cabs used in the saved layout DO need to be installed prior to a chts restore?

i know i have done something wrong, more like a couple things but when i did install chts on the new rom my layouts auto appear in settings but nothing at all on the home screen. the carrier text is shifted further down on the left than normal and the home tabs show (when i use/set the cht softkeys both in the saved layouts and prior to installing chts)

thanks for any help im kinda stuck on setting up until i get this figured out
