Upon further review, it seems the QL data is going to be also stored in RAM, since that's likely required for speed ... so this means that locking the file(s) probably won't prevent this issue from happening in the first place...rather, it would just let us reboot to get our orig QL layout back. Soooo...the underlying problem needs to be addressed most likely as a proper fix. I'll be the first to donate when 2.0 goes final...no doubt. |
Re: {{Manila Mod}}[26-Sep-2010] Co0kie's Home Tab v2.0.0 Beta
Barring all that...if your quicklinks swap and you're using the CHTeditor, all you need to do is open the editor and import your settings file again and all the qls are back where they should be. At least on my phone anyway.

So please be patient - we are not a company, we do it all in our sparetime. To shorten up a little bit of the wait time, here is a new part of CHT, which will fix some of the issues. Just copy with TotalCommander or RescoExplorer the both .exe-files of the .zip to /windows and overwrite the old one. I recommend to save a Baseline with CHTS anyway, to have a fallback. You will notice: - proximity sensor is working as intended now - faster, more stable CHT - much better battery usage for a little bit more advanced users also: if you have problems, create a new key in HKCU/Software/HTC/Manila "CHTI.State.Logging" as Dword and set it to 1. you will get a new directory on sd-card with name "chtstateLOG" Just let it run for a while and then set key to 0. then .zip this directory and attach it to your answer here(or CHT thread at XDA). Don't forget versions info and which issue you have. Have fun, Micha" Orig. post Attached Files : http://media.xda-developers.com/images/attach/zip.gif chtstate108f.zip |

Re: {{Manila Mod}}[26-Sep-2010] Co0kie's Home Tab v2.0.0 Beta
Are the Notification Icons in 2.0 the same size as 1.8? Just wondering if the ones I have from the last version will work or not.

And, no, you're not crazy. :) This update should fix many issues and definitely add a bit of responsiveness back to CHT. Quote:
So, no the old ones won't work, as they do not have the proper layout for all 4 icons in them. Though the quicklink notification icons are of course still the same. |

Glad there a fix for this. But I'm kind of lost when it comes to using TotalCommander. Is there any way someone can cab this up for me? Would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in adavance. |
