Re: TP2 Fonts [AVAILABLE]

OK all of the DL links are working again. I tried something different this time, so hopefully they will stay fixed.

In response to everyone that has been having trouble with the "extra characters" in the filename:

I looked into this, and it only happens to me when I try to DL the CAB from my device. If I DL the CAB to my PC, and then sync it over, I have no problems. I just did a test run on my phone, and sure it enough it's wrapping the filename with quotation marks... I have absolutely no idea why it's doing this... I'm going to see if it's an Opera setting somewhere...

I downloaded a font, but when I tapped the .cab file to install, it came back "this file is not a valid Pocket PC application."

Anyone else getting the same error?

The error I got was, "The file name contains invalid characters". So I removed the quotes ( " ) at each end of the file name and it installed just fine.....

Lithos Pro saves as a unusable file. I remedied with deleting the extra underscore after .cab in the file name. Just thought you would like to know, or to anyone that doesn't catch that.

Can you please confirm that you downloaded this while on your device (i.e. via Opera or IE)? That seems to be the only way I get the same error.

Also, Can anyone else confirm that they DID NOT have to remove extra characters during/after downloading on their device (via Opera or IE)?

kliptik,
I would GREATLY appreciate a cab with the calibri font about half the size that you currently have it and call it "Calibri Small". I would use this for some special applications and if would be a great help, thanks.

I'll look into this...

I downloaded mine via Opera Mobile 9.7, if that helps any. Found our my error was caused by removing the ".cab" from the filenamw IN ADDITION to the quotation marks. I've been able to resolve that issue by removing ONLY the quotation marks, as stated in my previous post.

Really digging the fonts, but wishing some were better sized so as to not interfere with Manilla (Sense 2.5).

Yeah I hear you on the Manila interference... Although I will say the TP2 has MUCH less problems than the TP1 did... Probably due to available screen real estate.

I am considering breaking up the CABs so you can install separate fonts for Manila (Sense) and Windows. This could turn out to be very time consuming, so I'm waiting to see how the requests go before I jump into too much more.

Re: TP2 Fonts [AVAILABLE] [REQUESTS FULFILLED]

www.dafont.com also has a ton of free fonts

Kliptik, just so you know, the Zegoe and Helvetica font has a _ after the extension .cab

so if you rename it to be .cab instead of .cab_ it will still work. Just a heads up.
Thanks!
