GeoCaching

I know there are already a few posts on this, but they've been dead for awhile now. Anyways I recently read that GeoCaching turned 10 years old and looked into it a little while it's kinda geeky it's also pretty fun.

This is what I'm currently using http://www.nicque.com/PQz/GCz.htm
It ties directly into http://www.geocaching.com/ and Google Maps.

If you've never heard of it watch the video on the GeoCaching home page and then get ready to go spelunking.:bigsmurf:

Also if anyone else is into GeoCaching what applications are you using?

Re: GeoCaching

use the GZII app.. also if your a regular geocacher, make sure you have a different/seperate GPS unit... the gps coordinates GZ app gives off can be off upto 30ft, which is a big deal for geocaching if its a tough hide...

**glad to see another geocacher on site though

Re: GeoCaching

I've only been to 3 cache's so far, but its been fairly acurate. I thought about buying a different GPS something I can read in the sun would be nice. I'm gonna wait till next summer though to make sure geocacher isnt just a summer fling for me.
