{BiGnAdAd Manila} Where is Manila 2.5.2013? Optimized for WinMo 6.5x?
 

Was just reading up and found that Manila 2.5.2013 was used on HDmini, but also was optimized for WinMo 6.5.x builds.... That makes me want to get my hands on it... Anyone know where to find Manila 2.5.2013 Package?

Found this link that shows someone oversees that has it included in ROM for HD2.... Want to try to get working on TP2 if anyone can help....:bigsmurf:

seems captain throwback has already attempted, but new manila needs to be ported from HVGA to WGVA

tabs haven't changed i dont think... more optimized and updated from what i read

Tabs are the same, the only change is better compatability with newer WinMo builds...and Manila 2013 (from the new hd mini ship rom) contains a new internet tab with location service. They've added a "my location" to the tab, like on the home tab and the wheather tab. I guess this enables a location sensitive search (some registry entries in the reg file in the internet page package indicates something like that too)

From what every1 is saying the VGA trophy should be coming out with a leaked rom within the next month or so. Won't do any good for us WVGA user tho....will need to be ported.... Most likely the LEO will get the 2013 with some upgrade sometime soon.

I heard from Captain over on XDA or maybe someone else that there is a 2014 as well.....not to sure whats going on there either.....I think thats WVGA....so back to the Rumor mill I guess...lol
