IM instant messenger for htc touch pro2
 

can anyone please help me find IM "instant messenger" to use with my HTC touch pro 2, i have mighty Rom, and SPrint. it would be great if you can give me the original IM file that came with sprint.

if you do a search on this site for the file name it should come up... if you haven't checked out palringo you should give that a shot too.

installed fine but when i try loggin in it says "the md5 digests do not match (code 403)" can anyone help me fix this?

I have never seen that error before. I would try to uninstall and reinstall...if that doesnt work I'm not sure.

This is because the Sprint original OZIM uses SMS for IM and is not using internet. I can use this one but you have to enter login info everytime you use it. I use Beejive. Much better and also alerts you with pop up if option selected. I will attach both.

What does the SPCS Carrier Cab Pack - WM 6.5.zip do? I have a problem using OZ IM too.

Can't believe I am the first one here to mention Palringo. Most of the PPCGeeks VIP's are using it. By far the best I have seen/used. Googletalk, AIM, ICQ, Facebook IM, and lots more all in one app.

i only really use aim... literally aim, downloaded aim from marketplace... free...

palringo is best but now since they decided to charge for premium type they have scaled back on their free version. Also if you check your powerdeck page and go to downloads there is an app called nimbuzz that is free and does support gtalk.

Free palringo still works pretty well... besides, the 'premium' version is only $5/year I can handle paying 1.37 cents a day... :D

I faill to see the advantages of Palringo. What exactly about it do people like? I'm not too thrilled with it forcing me to sign up to their account.

Palringo is definately the best one. Last month i went through a phase where i tried all of the messenger. Palringo is the most steady one of them all and won't crash as much as aim. Nimbuzz always signs you out.
The free palringo is great and if you talk to someone that is also using palringo you can do walkie talkie capabilities and the pictures go through really quick and show up on the chat.

it's really simple to share pictures with it. It's switch's from desktop to phone and back very easy and I get really good battery life with it on my phone.
