Mod to Sense 2.1 to make Email "Mark as Read" on Preview for > 1 sec?
 

For text messages, it's marked as read once you preview it for longer than a second or so. For email messages, I have to go into Inbox, then mark it as read (several steps).

I know TF3D doesn't have this mod and the work around is "Mark All as Read", but I'm hoping for Sense 2.1 / WinMo6.5, this has been... somehow fixed and that I just can't find it.

Can anyone help?

i like that idea, i wonder if the times can be changed for both text messages and email, i would only like a 1 second viewing time instead of its 6 seconds or so, lemme know if you come across any mods, i'm sure someones already made something, theirs some really smart people on this site

I think this is a great idea becuz we get a full preview of the e-mail on Sense 2.5. There really isn't a need 4 us to click on it just to mark it as read.

Bump +1...heck, I'd like "delete message" to work in the email tab of Sense 2.5...

I couldn't understand why this isn't done natively. My Moto Q's all had this feature out of the box. I think everyone could use it. It's part of the reason I had to disable the led flashing.

@ awenthol - why doesn't your delete email from the tab work? Mine works fine, but I am cooking my own roms. I wish there was a softmenu key for deleting without having to click something else first.

Not sure...I'm running EnergyROM and when i use the delete button in sense it "deletes" it until the next email sync, at which point it pops up as a new message. I haven't gotten around to loadng up his latest, so maybe this has been fixed.

There is CAB out there that works in2.5.
Install and see if it works for 2.1
