Santod, figured I'd save you a little time since I recently addressed mapping call history in CHT to uzebs call history tab. The following link will carry anyone interested to the directions. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...05&postcount=8 EDIT: Santod, this was mainly for the member you were helping since I'm sure you don't need my assistance on this. Just wanted to clarify that I was saving you time by you not having to explain how to accomplish this. |
Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (March 7th version 1.6.1)
Thanks he really helped me out and now the cookie program works great. I just didn't know if I still needed the uzebs call histroy or not since it's on my home screen now which I love. My home screen is perfect now. :-) Thanks, I'll read that link in the am..

I actually had seen your post and was likely just gonna point her(?) there too. :) Thanks for helping out, it's always appreciated and I don't mind at all. I encourage it for those who know what they are talking about. :thumbleft: It just sounded as if she was content for the night and was ready for bed. |
Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (March 7th version 1.6.1)
Thanks Guys! I just got tired last night after spending an hour working with my phone getting it the right way to make cookies cab work I was worn out. But it all worked out great. I love having all those shortcuts on my screen and I love how i can slide over and there hidden and you can see my main background so well without all the black bars LOL! And the missed call thing is awesome..
I put the call history file on my memory card and am going to try to do what you said to link them together. But if I get a missed call and I click on it on my home screen I see my history and I delete it and then it's gone from my call history tab at the bottom. If I go to my call history tab 1st and don't click on the missed call icon then the missed call icon goes away from my home screen. I can then delete the call from the call history tab. So it works either way the same to me. What am I missing? I just love seeing the missed call on my home screen and how it hides.. So this is kind of a silly question but what does linking them together actually do? Thanks, Rose Edit: Guess I'll try it and see what the difference is! Quote:

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (March 7th version 1.6.1)
Ok it didn't work for me but here is exactally what I did. I took the call history.txt and added it to my memory card. I then went to memory card and under menu and rename it just said Call History and I added .lnk after history then copied and pasted it under windows start menu I had 2 folders and I put in my programs folder. It klept locking up and being real slow when I went to explorer and windows and the hour glass was stuck for a bit but it finally came up. And when I go to my editor it's slow but I never saw call history in the list. So I must of done something wrong. But it's ok everything else is good. And I appreciate the help! Rose
Edit: I don't know how to make the .txt become .lnk. I was just adding the extension to the end of Call History.lnk but that didn't work it's still being recognized as a .txt file. |
