COOKIE MONSTER QUICK EDITS

I just made this cab for people so that it would be easier for those who are afraid of editing the registry

This definitely makes changing Hometabs alot easier. Just click on a cab and restart sense.

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (48 links with slidding panels and more)

Just made the move back to 2.5 with the new Mr. X ROM. After I got everything setup, my first install was....Cookie Home Tab! After using MaxManila in the past, I gotta say this Mod kicks ass. MaxManila is bloated. Every part of the home screen you touch does something different and often times it is something you didn't intend on clicking. This seems very light and efficient. I hope you continue to keep it light. If I wanted a complete overhaul of my 2.5 screen, I would go with MaxManila. I love this Mod for it's simplicity. Don't loose that!

That being said, my intention when moving to 2.5 (aside from the increased functionality of it) is to focus my new themes, sliders, etc pm 2.5. Now, when I start editing the Manila files (aside from the clock and slider as the ones I already made work seamlessly with this mod) am I going to run into issues with the Cookie Mod? I guess what I am asking is, do I need to extract my manila files with this mod installed in order to insure compatibility with it. If so, then I would need to make 2 versions of my mods, one for 2.5 and one for Cookie 2.5. If this is the case, I would more than likely just focus on Cookie compatible themes as I don't see myself using 2.5 without it.

For the most part, all graphic mods should still work just the same.
If you were to try and create B4all, or anything that effects the Home screen layout, then you would wanna make separate mods.
So, basically, clocks and sliders and such will work fine with, and without the mod. If you have anything specific you have concerns with, just let me know and I'll help answer whatever other questions you may have.
For the most part, mod away! :thumbleft:

Thanks Santod. Just to clarify then. It sounds like this mod does not add any graphic manila files, redirect them or anything of that nature. And it will use the existing files as they are. So if I were to say, change the color of the backgrounds for the program tabs, this mod would not be effected negatively in anyway? Same with the backgrounds behind the appointments, etc?

(Ugh, I don't like how I worded all of that, but you get the idea.)

Exactly! None of those changes will have any negative effect on the mod at all.
The mod is almost purely scripts and uses all of your existing graphics.
So those changes will all be fine! :)

Thanks again, I actually just opened the .cab with winCE and took a look for myself. Guess I could have done that first and not had to ask. But thanks for the response.

Here is a new home screen alignment with a smaller clock.
This way you can see 3-4 appointments (depends on Call History) and your quicklinks.

Just install the attached cab and restart Manila afterwards.
This mod only works with preinstalled Co0kie's Home Tab 1.5.4!
Any other version will result in a misaligned homescreen.

Download for: cmE Co0kies New Alignment.cab can be found HERE. :)

Thanks to Chalid for his work.

I am running Mighty's War (latest version), and have installed the BG4ALL on the first page. At first it worked fine...until I went to landscape, then the background disappeared.
I flipped it back and forth... and it came back every so often and then was gone again, never showing up in landscape. I am using cookies... v1.5.4.
