[HOWTO] Get stock WM6.5 lockscreen to work all the time.
 

I've tested this setup on MightyMike's Sense UI 2.1 02.04.2010 rom for the past 2 days and didn't have any issues. Thank strra on post #9 for cutting out one step and intregrating the disableslidewakup registry entry into the cab.

1) Install LockDevice_V1.6(disableslidewakeup).CAB (credit: here and strra)

3) Go into the start menu and select LockDeviceGUI

4) Enable the Settings that you want. I have Enabled, Lock if music playing and Lock on Screen Off selected.

5) Click Save

6) Your good to go!

I also attached the Dusk_6.5_Lockscreen_v3.0.cab if any of you wanted a different lock screen look. Go here for link to author and screen shots of the lock screen.

Hey frost quick question. I'm just curious as to what didn't work about the stock lock screen. I haven't had any issues wut so ever but then again I'm using a different ROM. I'm on the EnergyROM 2011. But even previous versions gave me no bother.

I always had issues on where it wouldn't sometime lock, it would unlock when I slide the keyboard, or it would unlock when I hit the end key. This pretty much makes the locking consistent and stable.

Ok gotcha.Thanks for the quick reply. Does it also stop it from unlocking when pulling out the stylus. That's prolly my only issue but I haven't found a fix for that yet. Really not a BIG deal but would be great...

I just emailed the creator for devicelock and he is going to add the option to keep the phone locked on stylus pull out. Ill keep you updated.

can this lock screen be fixed so there is no green tint when you slide it

What do you mean by green tint? With that dusk theme lock screen there isn't any for sure.

this cab should eliminate one step. install this lockdevice cab and you won't have to install the disableslidewakeup.cab
