I may take a look later, but it sounds as if this is touch and go for some right now anyway. Maybe I missed something in the OP! LOL!
I'll look into it again later, if people are actually interested in having this work.
I know I actually like the coverflow for the music now.
As it is much snappier to animate!
Not super fast, but definitely much faster and smoother!:mrgreen:

Much faster, in my opinion. They have really optimized some of the scripts that were bogging down the interface.
It's about time! :) Wouldn't you agree?

I also confirmed the music tab will auto rotate with cover flow, but HTC doesn't want the picture tab to auto rotate, for whatever reason. So just the music tab will have the animated landscape transition, apparently! Not the photos.

Those are just a couple examples of things that i always waited on before when using pre manila 2.52011. and i know that a few seconds of waiting isnt the end of the world, but it adds up when you use your phone a lot....
The only other manila version i have seen quicker is 2.51921 (when energyROM used chainfire compression)
Even Windows Mobile is quicker. i guess because the manila is not demanding so much...

with a single registry change, the music tab will auto rotate with cover flow just fine. the photo tab, on the other hand, won't. it has a check to see if the device you're using is a leo before it will let you enable cover flow auto rotation. i disabled that check on mine (by editing a lua script), and it works just fine. it's a bit slow though. i need to find a way to optimize it somehow :???:

Cover flow not working on Topaz version (official 2011), it worked stock on the 2011_Test files (Leo 2.02 leaked version). As Kaede132 touched on, cover flow is probably only enabled for devices that can keep up to speed on it (which the TP2 cannot, very laggy).

Coverflow is working just fine on my current Topaz 2.5.2011 rom.
