how to fix signal icon thats x'd out???

everytime i install a different taskbar other than cdma bilbobrian my signal icon is an x'd out sim card.
my carrier is us cellular.
my phone is cdma, but sim capable
any help be greatly appreciated.

A lot of taskbar Icons require a SIM card to be in the phone whether the card is active or not. I used a blank AT&T SIM card to fix this for me. Just pop in to your the nearest GSM providers store and see if they will give one.

Thanks, This fixed my verizon task bar also. I had forgot that I had removed the sim card.
