Re: anyone know about this UI???????
Could this possibly be a Samsung UI? Much like Touchflo is an HTC UI? Hmmm...if only there was a way to tell. ](*,)
Sorry, couldn't help the sarcasm. Samsung made that UI. |

Anyhow, I think the thought was that this may be able to be extracted and ported... |
Re: anyone know about this UI???????
Okay, is it possible to port this to our device? Probably. Will it be easy to do? Probably not. Why is that? Because it is more than likely cooked heavily into the Samsung WM ROM. Without having access to the actual device, this is simply an assumption. I doubt you will see anyone take the time to do this. Most of the people involved with doing things like this are busy working with newer version of Manila or porting Android over. If you like the UI that much, I suggest looking to see if a similar device is available at a carrier you can use.

Re: anyone know about this UI???????
interesting to note that this Samsung Mondi comes with a Wimax enabled chipset also, does anyone know how big that screen is? Looks almost like the HD2 could pull the same form factor.
also, anyone familiar with this widget centric version of Samsung's UI? |
