How do I add/assign an icon to a .lnk file
Greetings,
Is there a relatively easy way to add an icon to a .lnk file using something like total commander? I have a .lnk that I use on my Programs Tab, but there is no icon associated with it and it looks kind of dumb; just a blank white icon. Not a big deal at all. Just wondering if I am overlooking something simple. Thanks for any advice. Doug M. EDIT: Never mind. I just found reStart over on XDA. It does exactly what I was looking for. |

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo\Start\ GPS\google maps.lnk]
"Icon"="\\Windows\\my_googlemaps.png" |
