Here is are my results using MaxTTM: I installed the 16 links w/BG4All on NRGZ 2/6 23518. I then set my portrait and landscape wallpapers. I installed MaxTTM 4.1, went to the WM6.5 tab, component is set to both, change method set to wallpaper, all 3 check boxes selected. I hit convert and then the phone resets. Right off, the taskbar & softbar were created from the landscape wallpaper and doesn't match the portrait wallpaper. In landscape, the wallpaper is not lined up with the bars. The windows wallpaper was changed to the landscape wallpaper so it is all messed up in portrait mode. Santo can you please help me out here with some guidance? Let me know if you need me to send you my wallpapers. Thanks.

This is why I say you have to use the same wallpaper for both portrait and landscape, cause it uses the landscape top and bottom image to create the bars.
I am not using it currently, because my interface is currently under remodeling status! Too many things I'm working on, for me to install anything I don't need at the moment.
I'll check it later on though. But you are not setting the wallpapers as I have suggested for it to look right.
It will not be perfect as you can see in the post below.

I recommend using HDwalls, now that you can.
At least until I get a chance to play with MaxTTM some on these new roms.

Lets see if we are on the same page here: Whether using HDWalls or MaxTTM I should set the wallpapers to the portrait wallpaper. Don't install landscape wallpaper on either software. If I use HDWalls I need to install the HQ patch first. Thanks for your help.

HDwalls allows you to setup landscape and portrait wallpaper when making the cab. However on the latest 2.5.2011, it appears to only use the portrait wallpaper in both modes. Yes use the patch!
Using MaxTTM, I select the same image for both modes to get the full screen effect in portrait mode. Hope that helps.

mmm, sorta!
If you have the 2.5.1922 patch I had posted, run it first.
Then you can install an HDwall.
However it uses the same wallpaper in landscape as it does in portrait.
Not rotated, so it's not distorted, but it is sideways, essentially.
Does that make sense?
I am gonna look at it more when I get a chance, but that's what I have found so far!
Unless the landscape image is being affected by another mod I'm testing.
Guess I should check it on a fresh install too, or uninstall my mod for now and see if it's any different.

i looked through the first page and didnt see a patch for hdwalls, whats it called? think u can direct me to the correct post

also, i know u run energy rom quite often and i ran it yesterday, i noticed he has these awesome clear like album covers for albums without photos, do u know what manila file that is and can u share it here?

Santod, I have decided to use MaxTTM to get the full screen effect in portrait mode. I followed the directions you gave to pietra92. However, when I get to the step to covert and says I need to pick a wallpaer first. Is this selection done somewhere in MaxTTM? I tried to go into settings and then home wallpaper to pick the same weather wallpaper for both the portrait and landscape modes. I then returned to MaxTTM to try and finish the process but it still gives me the same message "pick a wallpaper first". Am I missing something? I hate to ask you to rehash this issue but I can't find the post where you describe this process.

Are you using the landscape B4all?
Have you selected a landscape picture since installing MaxTTM?
Try selecting Shake and Save and the selecting a landscape wallpaper to match the portrait.
Then tap convert, it should just reset on its own, once set right.

Hey Santod,

I loaded the Stealth Slider and I'm loving it on the latest WAR (2/3/10). One question....how to do one increase the interval the slider stays up b4 it hides itself again?

Is it an easy mod like a reg edit?

I just installed a bunch of your cabs, all but 2 are working for me, the remove quick background and the remove calender, is there a perticular way im supposed to do this? im running MightyRom War with 2011, any chance on getting the clear clock backgrounds to work with 2011 as well?

The remove quicklink background cab, is for selected icons, so there is no border.
The stealth launcher links, are transparent when empty.

The no clock background and all other clock components are also working just fine! :)

Feel free to search my archive of many wallpapers, there seem to be some who find there aren't enough good ones, but surely out of 15,000, you could find a few to save.

I have a few other nice new ones. Maybe I'll add them here in a few.

No, it's not just a simple reg. entry.
You would need to decompile my script and change the highlighted line, in this small section of it.
Then recompile, convert back, reinstall: :evil4:

Santod, I'm running MR X's 2.5 and tried using the remove calendar cab, but the calendar still remains, as does the clock background. Not sure if it's due to the newer version of 2.5 that Mr. X used, but if so, any chance of you doing these for the latest versions of 2.5? I used them off a clean HR with nothing else loaded except for a couple of your cabs, so I don't think it's a conflict.

The cabs should still be working fine. Be sure you have the right cab for what you want. There is one for the calendar and alarm background. The one I think you grabbed, was for the calendar page background, in touchflo. Check and be sure and I will check myself when I get home from work.

Sorry to sound like an idiot, but I'm not sure what the calendar looked like before I ran the cab, to be honest with you. I'll grab a couple others and see what works. Also, should the clock arrays work with this version of 2.5? I d/l'd some from XDA and lost all the quick links and ended up having to HR to get them back.

Edit: Santod, let's just chalk this one up to a new 2.5 user, ok? We'll keep it between you and I.... Your cabs work great, I guess the cab I grabbed (from another thread but I thought was from here) has a name that implied one thing but did another. Your cabs worked great, now to just stop tweaking this damn phone and leave it alone for a bit. thanks for the quick response and for all the mods you've got out here, they're incredible!

1 question, with your stealth slider, can i make the little box (when slider is hidden) transparent? its not stealthy enough when i still see it.. maybe i am missing something.

I installed the Stealth slider and not quite a fan of it so i tried to uninstall it and soft reset now it's giving me problems and showing the transition image and text. Would you know what the problem is?

Sorry, but I have not had or heard of any such issues like that. The stealth slider should have no effect on that. Could you post a screen shot? Also, what other home mods have you installed?

I have been loading and unloading many of these 2.5 mods from Santod and haven't had that issue at all, except for some of the R1-R6 mods for quicklinks, but never had that problem with the stealth slider, clean uninstall each time. Did you load something else over it that may be causing the problem?

your on imagio i had that problem before just reinstall another slider and tab
problem is that were not using 2.5 rom were using 2.5 cab so anything you uninstall you need to install something else to put the files back on

ex uninstall quick links put diff quick links back
uninstall clock put clock back on ect ect ect

hey installed the no curtains manila cab , but the curtain is still showing up....do you know why? running medium hill rom , cookie home tab , santod stealth slider.....
I just want the start button, phone button and menu button...hate the curtain that is on there....please any help ideas appreciated.

The No Curtains Cab, removes the curtain behind the carrier logo, just beneath the top Taskbar and the curtain, behind the slider icons.
What you are looking to remove is the top taskbar and bottom softkey bar.
Try using HDwalls for that with the Cookie Mod.
I have posted the 2.5.2911 patch that also is working for 2.5.2011 and 2.5.2012 as well. Also I have posted instructions on how to cab up the wallpaper. Basically what it will do is make your wallpaper fullscrenn, so that it overlays the bars.
