Disable clock flip help!
 

I tried the cab files for disabling the 1:02 clock flip in manilla 2.5. After I install the cabs (tried 2 different ones) it bumps me into 1X after soft reset. Anyone have any ideas? I am running juicy R5

I also tried Apristel's flip clock fix on Juicy R6, and it didn't work for me either. Maybe we need a new one for Sense 2.5?

Ok so this was really starting to irritate me, so I dug a little deeper. It turns out that my custom task bar that I had installed was causing some issues. I thought that it was actually causing the phone to malfunction as to my 3G/1x issue. When I installed the wvga.cab file, it actually fixed the problem which is the total opposite of what I was thinking:) does this make sense?

Not really. So you are saying the .cab I posted fixed what? It should have only effected the clock flip.

What I found out was that my problem was not with the actual 3G/1X setting on the phone. The taskbar would show "EV" but when I clicked on the taskbar, in would show "CDMA1X". It turns out that the taskbar that I installed was for 6.1 not 6.5, so it was the taskbar that was causing my problem, not the clock flip cab like I thought. Some how, the cab you posted fixed the problem with the taskbar, not sure how or why, but it did. What does the cab consist of? IS it just a reg edit?

I have not messed around with any of that, yet. I am pretty interested, just have to find the time to learn and experiment. Thanks for the help!
