Stock Verizon rom. It doesn't work in either mode for cell tower identification. Only wifi works. Version 3.5.2.6 works great with almost no problems for me 98% working.
They will have to make changes to get tower identification down.

Currently using Juicy's R3 ROM on Sprint. No cell towers, only wifi, but no freeze ups. I'm running v3.5.1.2. With newer versions more often than not it would kill my data connection. That was with the stock Sprint ROM though. I haven't tried any newer versions with Juicy's ROM.

I forgot to mention that I have used 3.5.1.2 also for a little while without problems. If it wasn't for the inaccurate aps on that version I would probably use it all the time.

Can others TP2 users check the following. When navizon starts it crashes the radio. Meaning the phone loses it signal like you entered airplane mode but them immediately reacquires. I was making sure it isn't just a verizon TP2 issue. My guess it this is one major reason the cell tower location doesn't work. Maybe it crashes the radio and then doesn't know see the signal once it comes back on

yeah. same prob. crash. I have asked Bredo about getting a version of the program that can log problems but he didnt seem too interested.

I updated to Juicy's R6 ROM so I figured I try the latest Navizon version, 3.5.3.2 (is this the latest?). I'm not sure if this is the same crash you are referring to, but when I run Navizon it switches my Mode of Operation phone setting from CDMA Only to Global. Otherwise it runs fine.

Hmm. That is wierd. Yeah they arn't so good at customer support there. I guess this phone communicates to the radio in a very diffferent way for navizon to crash the radio. I was very suprised navizon didint work in gsm mode. Since it has no problems with any gsm phones.

Navizon appears to run at about 15% on the new verizon 6.5 rom. It logs very very slow and the count is way low so it is missing many points. Anyone else try it yet? I don't understand why it is so slow. I have tried 3.5.2.6 and the api embedded in Cameraware
