No it will not work with HTC contacts.
I do not use the Fav People tab.
I use Panoramic Contact Genius and sometimes Resco Contacts.
There are other ones and they all work better than HTC contacts IMO.
I also do not use the Messaging tab because I use SMS Chat which also works much better than HTC or WM messaging.

Have turned off both of those tabs on mine.

Root, I assume after you went to WM dialer all the ringtone issues went away? or you never had any problem becuz you had volumeX. I thought I read where you still had problems just very faint rings. Going with Wm dialer is the last thing I am going to try if it does indeed work. But I have a hard time letting go the nice looking dialers............

Yes WM has no ringer issues at all.
Started having them on Tachi dialer and tried every tweak and edit I could think of and it was a lot. LOL

Kept going from WM dialer and back to Tachi to find out it stoped every time with Tachi and worked flawless with WM.

My WM dialer looks freakin AWESOME dude. :)

Here is a link with a screenshot of the dialer skin I am using.
It looks even better on the device and works great.
Very fast and the call list actually works. LOL

really? but my call list in dialer is all empty still. am I missing something?
And also when i am receiving calls, the answer button on the screen is the window symbol exactly like the right next to it. hahahahaha and where the end button should be, it's just empty. They still work when I press them just...... not what they should be in terms of the graphics.

Maybe un-install the skin and re-install.
Can you post a screen shot of the graphic problems?

Call some people and they will then be in the call history list.
Also once they call you they will be there.

Mine works great.
Here is a screen shot of mine.

I tried uninstall/install, still no call list. You know where you have mom, and the number below, it's all white for me. but the interesting thing is when I click on that white space, there's something there. It will let me go to the contact. I think it's just that I cannot see it. I will try to post the some screen shots later about the answer and end key on the bottom

Try using the NRG rom dialer fix.
Maybe that is the key?

Ok, this is my screen shot. As you can see I have two win icon on the left of the screen, which........ is what I saw when I get calls coming in. And the right one, even though in this screen it shows the menu icon, when I have calls coming in, that spot is just empty with no icons. And the blank white space above is where the phantom call list should be obviously....... hahahaha:mrgreen:

And I tried the fix cab..... I haven't noticed anything yet... hahahaha It's another trade off I assume.

...hey Root, I just tried your CDMA cab to get the advanced options back in the dialer and it didn't work. I did a soft reset and it did knock out the GSM stuff, but didn't replace it with the CDMA page.

I did it manually, but wanted to give you a heads up...I wanted to link it to the Guide. Thanks dude!
