how to create a working shortcut to folders?
I'm trying to create a shortcut for my "games" and other folders that when you select it from CLauncher or from anywhere else, it opens the folder, however just clicking "create shortcut" gives me an error when I try to open it, so is there something else I'm missing or something else I needs to do?

Re: how to create a working shortcut to folders?
Rename the attached text file Games.lnk and it'll work.
Here's how I did it. Drill your way to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs with File Manager. Tap and hold to the right of the Games folder and choose Copy. Browse to where you want to save your shortcut, tap and hold, choose Paste Shortcut. Good luck. |

that doesn't work. try clicking on the lnk file in file manager and it gives you an error instead of opening the games folder. |

Re: how to create a working shortcut to folders?
well the whole point is to be able to get CLaucnher or something like that to be able to open the games folder, and this won't do it, you get an error, but just opening it up from file explorer works.

Re: how to create a working shortcut to folders?
CLauncher has supported both .exe and .lnk files for a couple versions now. Once you create and save the shortcut you can point CLauncher at your .lnk file.

No worries, on paper it should work... I'll try that out right after work today and hopefully that may work. |

and if you want to tackle another one lest you be eternally bored. try this one on for size:  How do you find the exe or lnk that points directly to your text inbox and email inbox (instead of tmail, which just gets you to you messaging services like email and text). Im looking to get into the inbox, like when you click on the email and when you click on text in titanium. |

If the path is typed correctly this method DOES work... I'd forgotten to include Programs in my previous post :/ Sorry for any confusion. |

Is the full command... enter it as the ACTIONURL in CHome or CLauncher. If you're writing .reg files you'll need to delimit the \ characters. "ACTIONURL"=":MSFEXPLORE;\\Windows\\Start Menu\\Programs\\Games" I actually tested this with CHome and i9n a .reg this time ;) |
