Re: CHome/Titanium Modifications

Is there a list of what the default panels are for?

What is:

Chome
CMessage
CMyFaves - Is this different than favorites?
CWelcomeCenter - Is this for the first startup?

I really like the windows Live one :)

Yeah, the cpr files need to be modified. Go to the CWelcomeCenter (or whichever panel's GUID you copied from) Expanded section and the Operator Services Expanded section and change "Icon" to "Image 1". That should take care of it. Are you still using a Touch as your profile indicates, or have you switched to a VGA device? If you have VGA, you can just copy my files from post 1. I am working on getting modified cpr's posted for QVGA. They'll be up tonight.

Edit: If you have a QVGA phone, can you check something for me? I'm curious what all .cpr files you have in your Windows directory. In my phone I have the following:

SlidingPanel_240x320.cpr
SlidingPanel_240x320_0411.cpr
SlidingPanel_320x240.cpr
SlidingPanel_320x320.cpr
Titanium_480x640.cpr
Titanium_640x480.cpr

I have the same thing, i took out the last two bc their not for qvga. You NEED the 240x320 and 320x240 one's though.

Cool, thanks for verifying that. I wanted to make sure that it wasnt titanium_240x320. BTW, you qvga users are going to have some cabbed up versions of these modifications soon. Someone at xda is almost done with it. He has a qvga phone, so you all will get it first. I'm mobile right now but I'll post the link to that thread when I get to a pc.

I just have SlidingPanel_240x320.cpr, SlidingPanel_320x240.cpr, Titanium_240x320.cpr, Titanium_320x240.cpr files in my windows folder.. Still have my htc touch - am on contract for 1 more yr.. :)

regarding the GUID, i didn't copy it from anything, I just created panels and pages using Chome configurator directly... didn't have to copy anything.. but i will still change those names and give it a shot..

Oh, ok...so there is a Titanium_240x320 and a Titanium_320x240 cpr. As far as the GUID's, the new panels show up on the today screen without changing the GUID? Would someone with a qvga phone mind posting their original .cpr files in a zip for me to double check something?

here you go hafrust..... hope this helps you... i like this soooo much over m2d and i wanna tweak it as much as i can...
i was able to add as many pages as i want to the launcher panel - i can create a new panel if i sacrifise the launcher panel - but i cannot see the new panel i created except when it is highlighter - so its there - just not visible if i have the launcher panel visible - i guess i can tweak that tooo - but need ur help... i am trying to create like a contact dialer shortcut panel just like m2d - and maybe expand it to have many cities weather panel - :)

Okay, I can verify that the GUID sets whether or not you can re-edit the item. Using the GUID from CLinks, I then see an * in the configurator. Problem is: if you leave that GUID, the item goes blank (but usable) because of the duplication.

I took those .cpr files, modified them to 640x480 et al, and loaded them up on my TP. Hopefully they will do something.
