Is anyone else experiencing a memory leak issue? I've just flashed this, and I'm just changing some settings around and I'm down to 4mb from around 20. I'm running in hi-mem and I've also hard reset after flash and soft reseted a few times too.

The leak might be caused by the debug logger. The following is from the Mega Manila2D thread over at XDA:

Apparently leaked Manila files are beta version and for that reason debbug logger is enabled in some applications by default. So you will have to disable it by deleting this registry key as soon as you have finished installing all programs. They key will reappear, but don't worry, it will not log anything.

Code:
HKLM\Software\HTC\DebLogger

It wouldnt be the logging capability anyways, I know that. about all it can be is apps not closed properly. setup one of the task managers to close apps completely.

Re: Justpctech Mega Manila2D 23017 build

the only reason that should happen is when the device is too low on memory to run the touchflo. Like if you opened Opera or another memory hog type of app, you will see the manila2d close itself until its got enough memory to start again. So you must be running something thats sucking all the memory up.

I'll look into installing a task manager--but I tested it by turning it off, then back on, and then just letting it sit there doing nothing. I checked back with it after 10 minutes, and sure enough the memory dropped.

Should I look into the regedit of the logging too?

Re: Justpctech Mega Manila2D 23017 build

how low did the memory get after a soft reset and just letting it sit there? It really shouldn't drop that much at all in that case, as long as NOTHING else is running. If you are using Exchange for email, I know that will suck up memory but otherwise something has to be running to make it drop like that. This build already has task managers installed; cant remember if I had both QuickMenu and HTC Task Manager in all the different builds, but some of them had both so you can choose which one you want. Either one will work fine as long as they are setup to close apps completely.
As for the logging, I really dont think it would be that but worth looking at anyways.
