PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 ROM 4 Titan
 

Hi guys. Here is a clean ROM I put together for the Titan using build 21501. It runs very nice and smooth. Thanks to those involved in putting the build together. Since this is a clean ROM, there are minimal programs in it, to ensure it will run smoothly, and also so you can start small then add whatever programs you'd like.

Programs included:
MS Office
Solitaire & Bubble Breaker
HTC Smart Dialing

How to flash:
1. Make sure you have a GPS enabled radio, meaning 3.xx
2. If you do continue, if not either flash a stock WM6.1 ROM prior to flashing mine, or drop a radio on a 2gb or less SD card and enter bootloader.
3. Make sure you are unlocked with Olipro 2.4, if you're not, get the phone connected to ActiveSync, then run the unlocker and follow it's steps.
4. Get into bootloader if you're not already.
5. Plug in and run the Excutable in the folder and enjoy the ROM when done!

Why when I reboot and flash, do I still have Sprint as my carrier even tho I flashed with the Verizon Rom

What carrier are you trying to run the device on? Flashing a ROM does not change the carrier. It only has customizations which apply to a carrier. Please add your device and carrier to your profile.

I'm trying to get the mogul working with Verizon. They've accepted my ESN, I've installed the bootloader (NueSPL), flashed the Radio, and installed your WM6.5 ROM4. What else am I looking to do? If there's a post in the forum, could you give me a link, or point me in the right direction.

Okay. You have to change the PRL to a Verizon one. Simply flashing a ROM is not gonna do. For this you will need your MSL as well. By the way, how did you get them to accept a non-native or Alltel ESN?

I have the verizon prl file, i just dont know what to do with it. Do I need to flash the phone with, and is there an exe that I should have downloaded?
BTW, called em up, talked with tech support, told em my situation, the guy sounded kinda nervous about it at first, went and talked to his supervisor, and voila. Took them 24 hours to enter the ESN into their database, but I got em to switch it. VOILA!

You need to update the PRL by going to ##775 or maybe ##775#. You need to MSL to get in. Then you browse the phone for the PRL and it then finds verizon towers.

I thank you for all the help. For some reason, I still can't get verizon to program the phone dialing *228 to give me access. If there's anything else you can think of... I've SPL'd, I've radio-flashed, I've installed your Titan ROM, and set the PRL. I'm confused, is there a reason that I still can't get verizon to recognize this phone? You've helped alot already, and I know you don't do this for money and probably have better things to do than help a newb fix his phone. But, any ideas would be helpful at this point.

I just found out they have me listed as a xv6900 on the verizon system... possibly???

Oh shute... yeah you might wanna have them change that. But, since the phones are the same type, it won't affect system. When you dial *228 do you get Verizon or Sprint? Make sure you tell them you have a PPC 6800, cousin of the XV6800. NO problem helping, if you wanna P.M. feel free...
