WM6.5 for HTC Titan Build 23566/21891 *UPDATE* - Page 44

A million thanks to jmartin72 and all others who have helped with this thread. I've only gotten to page 3 and it's a little overwhelming, but all good info.

I tried installing the htc Task Manager that jmartin72 linked to, but all I see is the Task Manager-looking icon overlaying/obstructing the clock on the home screen. When I click, I just get the same options I was getting prior to installing the .cab.

Is there something else I need to do?
Is there a better Task Manager that works with this ROM (23547)?

That Task Manager is not meant for the 23xxx branch. It's for the 21xxx branch. What you need to do for 23547 is map the voice command button on the left side of your Titan to the existing Tack Manager for easy access.

Thank you again for all your help. I was actually curious, since you brought up the Voice Command button...
I was curious if there is a Voice Command .cab that is compatible with the ROM so I can actually restore that function.
I was also curious if the last free version of WMWifiRouter (0.97, I think?) works with this ROM.
Finally, since I got on the subject of buttons, I was wondering if there is a way to add buttons to the programmable button list. I really like the options that are available on the Touch Pro2 when the 'End Call' button is held down. I'm not sure if you're familiar with it, but the button hold can either switch airplane mode (the default setting), or it can bring up a list of options including switching airplane mode, switching ringer/vibrate, terminating the data connection, and locking the device.

If any of this is possible I'd love to add some of these capabilities.

Another note, the phone only seems to connect to my Wifi network upon start-up. Then I keep getting "Incorrect Network Key" notifications. I have triple- and quadruple-checked that I am entering the correct network key (I configured it myself), but I can't get online. I'm using Open 128-bit WEP; is there something else I need to set up on the phone?

If these issues are already answered in the thread, please disregard. I will eventually read through all 40-something pages of the thread and learn about it.

I posted this in the 2016 thread in the mail Titan forum, but didn't get any reply back. Maybe someone here can help.

At 3:00AM CDT April 1, I got a message on my Sprint Mogul that my copy of Windows Mobile expires within 30 days on 5/01/2010. Is this an April Fools joke or is it time to upgrade from Build 23540?

download the second file. its a .dll file, and copy it to youe windows dir. Thats what I did, and then soft reset, that worked for me

I got no such message, but I'm running 23551. All the Timebombs should have been removed from the .sys files before cooking. I would say its a fake message.

Update: turns out that sys did get out with timebomb still armed, so message is real. update to 23551.
