Re: WM6.5 for Sprint Mogul Build 21815 *UPDATE*

okay, first issue with this ROM; trying to install the weather panel and it is not showing up. Iv downloaded the chome configurererer, AND the htc customiser, but it will not show up.

SO, iv already begun the process of building my own ROM with PPCKitchen.. However, i was wondering:

Is there a way to take this ROM and place it in the kitchen, then tweak what i want? I know it sounds like a lazy shortcut, and possibly insulting to the people who created it, but its got everything i already want plus/minus a couple of really small things.

Any help? or am i being an insulting/lazy git?

I second this request. Is it possible to load a .nbh file into PPC Kitchen and customize it accordingly? The only 6.5 build available is 21501, which is relatively old.

Re: WM6.5 for Sprint Mogul Build 21815 *UPDATE*

In short, the answer is no. It would be like taking a loaf of bread and wanting to put it back into the oven so that you could get the original ingredients back and change the recipe a bit. There would be too many compatibility issues occurring, especially when you have a kitchen that does not have the utilities loaded for the rom you would like to edit.

I love the idea, but I am not smart enough to make it happen.

You know, i need to start diddlin with my bits before I ask questions here; I figured that out on my way home from work.

Luckily, I figured out a bit more of the mechanics of cooking in the kitchen and I feel confident I can build the ROM I desire using the core materials and OEMs I already have.

Mucho, uh, Thankso to people who helped me figure a way past my own lethargy.

Back to the frying pan! (these kitchen puns will never, ever end as long as i live)

Re: WM6.5 for Sprint Mogul Build 23001 *UPDATE*

I just wanted to say "Thank you" for your hard work on these roms. I have the 23001 on my titan and I love it. It has the basic sprint stuff I want and it is rock stable. I think there are very few threads lately because people have so few problems with your roms. Thanks again!

Just a word to let everyone know I have not dropped off the face of the earth. I have cooked the two latest builds 23003, and 23004. I did not like either of them. the guys on the developers thread are having issues with them as well. I will not be posting them. 23001 is very fast and stable on my phone after running it for a week or two. Unless they come up with something better I will be sticking with this build for now. I trust you all feel the same.

Jmartin72-what do you think of the latest builds...i'm guessing you don't see enough incremental imporvement to go go with these builds...

Now that you ask, 23017 is great. You can get it in the first post. It does not have as much free mem. as the older builds but its faster and more stable. I have made some tweeks that I think help. I will not be cooking a 23022 build, becuase the guys on the developers thread say its very buggy, and thas good enough for me. I will continue to cook and test future builds and post up the good ones.

Does your 23017 build differ much from the MattSM 23017 build? I'm on the fence with that build. It's good, fast, and very little memory leak, but it has a few minor things that annoy me...which I detailed out in his thread.
