Hey,

Great kitchen, I am trying to figure out wich one of the .erv files to choose.
So far, test_21815.erv, gets me a bootable and functional ROM, but the indicator that is to the left of the signal icon, starts out with the data arrows/x.
then when I turn on the WiFi, the icon for the WiFi shows but stays even after I turn it off.
I never see EvDo, or 1X.
Also I had to load an unlock cab file to allow me to install the kiaser comm.
I kept getting an error regarding "permission"??
Other than that, It's an awsome kitchen.
Thank you for your devotion to this project. It allows me to do something productive with the 3 QWest 6800s that I have besides the 2 XV6800 that I had to "SQUEEZE" out of VZW at a marginal cost. Since they chose to "BAN" QWest ESNs from their "NOT SO OPEN NUTWORK"

THANKS!!

Ok I'll check it out. Are you using the Probex task bar? That would be the only reason I can think of why that might happen with those icons. Whats an unlock cab?

Hey,

I figured it out, the taskbar had to be selected.
The unlock phone hack, is something I found at PPCGeeks.(cant remember where) I think a cab stikie??

Any way the mort script kept telling me to run something or read something so I left it out and ran "JZSmartMort_v1.5.cab" and it works.
But sometines when I goto backlight settings and change to power settings, the menu button goes lame. (press it , it highlights but no action??

That Mortscript that comes up when you soft reset or when the phone boots its just telling you that MortRun exe is running and you can run any Mortscripts you have its nothing to be concerned with just ignor it, there is a way to have it so it does not come up at all I just haven't figuired it out yet.

I think I'm getting the hang of the kitchen.
Which erv file should I choose for the latest builds?
I have been using the "test_21815.erv", but it still shows "21806" in the "EXT Build.
Why is there no 23003 or 23004 .erv file untill I create one?
And thanks again for jumping on the builds as they become available.

It does not matter witch one you choose the ones I put in there are just to get you started once you make a rom with the selections you want just save it and you can delete the ones I put in there and the ext packages is just where the OEMs are it doesn't matter what the # says.
