Unlocking Issues

I am toying with the idea of trying out one of the new WM6.5 ROMs. Thus far I have stuck with the stock ROMs so I've never had the occasion to unlock my device. I unRARed nueSPL2.47 and followed the directions. I copied the exe to my device and ran it. It said that all was well and I continued on through all the following screens and instead of rebooting the device, it goes to the bootloader screen and stays there. The screen says the following:

TITA100
SPL-2.07No2Chem Titan SPL EVT
CPLD-9.

From here I have to soft reset to get back to normal. I checked the boot loader after the soft reset and it is back to the normal 2.07 boot loader.

Can someone tell me what STUPID thing that I am doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Put the .exe on the root of the SD card and retry.

Already tried that. Here is a list of what I've tried.

Ran from root of main memory ... same result
Ran from root of sd card ... same result
Booted in safe mode and ran from root of sd card ... same result

Any more ideas??

Re: Unlocking Issues

Try 2.4 instead. Then if that upgrade works and you still want 2.47 try installing 2.47 again

WinZip 12. The exe runs and appears to do what its supposed to up to the point where you actually hit the last continue. After pressing the last continue, it goes to the bootloader screen that I described in my original post.

If I use 2.4, can I relock later if I need too?

Re: Unlocking Issues

Yes it is just a competitor to 2.47

Could this be an SD card issue? I am using a 4GB SD Card.

I don't want to be so annoying, but if I have an issue, I don't want to hose anything up.
