Can't Make Calls? CALL ENDED 00:00 ??? Help
 

I changed the E$N from my brocken Touch PRO to my verizon mogul. everything was done completly and it shows that i have the new ESN but i think the only problem is that the touch PRO has MEID and the TiTAN doesn't so now i can program the phone but i can't make any calls??


i trying to unlock it and install a sprint rom but still the same then i tryed to relock and instal a verizon ROM but still the same???

HELPP PLEASE

More information needed. What is your current rom? Why try a sprint and verizon rom. Exactly what settings are you trying to change.

I am trying to use my phone for Verizon and i currently have the OEM Verizon ROM but when i try to do the *228 and right when i hit send it does not make the call and it say CALL ENDED 00:00 right the way


there are no bars on the top either???

Is it a sprint phone? Do you have service where you are? What radio and rom versions?

it is a verizon wireless xv6800. i instaled this rom

it should have the radio with it but idk why it is not working??

the phone was working fine until i changed the esn and i put the touch pro esn in it.

what should i do?

Please go to device info and give me radio, rom, spi, and spl versions.

I just unlocked it with olip 2.4 and installed the sprint ROM

ROM ver. 3.35.651.2

radio ver: 3.35.04

PRL version: 60610

PRI version: 2.00_003

Why would you put a sprint rom on a phone you want to use for verizon?

i put the sprint rom because it has the gps in it and i was gonna install a custom Verizon wireless rom after to use.

i already update it on the accound with the new esn and everything.

the problem is that the phone is not able to make any calls and on the top it doesn't show any bars at all only a circle next to the tower

Wow you have messed this thing up.

Ok. I will give you to options to fix your phone. You choose. Don't install a sprint rom there is no need since you can have gps without it now.
Option 1

Follow my downgrade instructions then install whichever rom you want. This should fix the problems. Also make sure you have the right EPST(##778 then send on verizon phone) settings

Does your MSID in EPST read your cell number with area code. If not your EPST setting are incorrect. I can help you if you want me to.

yes it shows my cell number there.

by the way what is the link for your downgrading instruction?

also i was reading through the web and someone had the same problem and he said that he re-locked and went back to SPL 1.7 or something like that then he unlocked again and installed the newer ROM and he said that solved his problem

so can you please help me to guide me to the right way ??

Those link in both step 1 above are for relocking and downgrade. The downgrade link takes you back to the old 1.xx bootloader. So follow the links I provided.

Downgrade then flash mr1 rom

More likely the issue is mismatching checksums on an improper esn/meid repair and no amount of flashing will correct this as those items are in NVM which flashing a rom doesnt change for the most part ppst.exe & radio refurbish.exe aside. On a dumbphone it will 100% of the time throw the phone into service required mode making a phone call or any type of connection impossible. I suspect putting a meid onto a native esn device the pESN or checksum is wrong or the proper system meid flag is not set(to realize the phone is now meid based not esn like it was) although I've never attempted to write a meid on a ppc. Its best to stick esn to esn and meid to meid which avoids problems like this. You will need to correct the esn/meid to fix this problem.
