Need Help Accessing Epst.....
 

Hey guys I need some help here so that I can change my MDN on this phone I just flashed. I have a Mogul with the following settings.

Sprint Phone originally, then flashed to Metro PCS.

ROM: 1.3.4 DCD Reloaded
Radio: 3.35.04
PRL: 02001
Running: Windows 6.1 Build 20275.1.3.3 dcd

When I try and type in ##778 to access EPST to make any changes it flashed real quick and then disappears.

I searched several broken topics and no one ever had a real solution except for reflashing. I did for Metro, but it still wont do it.

It seems like I can't access any menus. I can't do ##000000# with our without the # at the end. Same with the ##778# with our with out the # at the end it won't do it.

Any suggestions or which program to make those changes then?

Even when I try and find file through explorer on phone I hit that icon EPST 28B and it does same thing flashes then goes right back to last window.

Accessing epst in the windows folder should work,did you hard reset after the flash?The phone dialer that you are using may not have all funtions working.There is a ## code fix cab on here somewhere that might help.I use the touchflo 2D dialer with vibrating dial pad,works great and ## codes work on it

Let me try that..hope it works.. I have a feeling it might not work since you can usually access EPST through windows explorer on phone and like I said above I clicked on the link if your dialpad doesn't work.

It still doesn't work.

I seen on another post that they installed a new cab file from Sprint, but would that mean I would lose my Metro flash stuff?

Hey GP1 I did that and it still didn't work. Did the same thing, it would flash to EPST and then close out to the dialer...

Any other ideas?

Try a hard reset,hold both your soft keys and at the same time push in the softreset,hold till you see a gray screen then press r .You would only lose .cab files and such that have been installed since the flash.Also here is the touchflo 2D dialerhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...5&d=1222283162

I had to run the Sprint carrier cab from dcd to get my EPST working again when I had the same problem, just remember when you flash a new ROM use your stylus to reset the phone when you see the autostart customizations
