Price Drop?
 

When in the world is the price around town gonna drop for this device? I bought a 6700 over 2 years ago b/c of the delays going on with the release of the 6800. Since then we have seen so many better phones come out, yet this phone regularly sells on Ebay and Craigslist from $180 to $200. I have been watching for months now and no deals seem to be coming around. What is the deal with that? All I'm looking for is some GPS...:)

I guess your just unlucky.. I bought a used Mogul with all the accessories for 100.00 off of Craigslist in kansas city. These deals don't last long. When I contacted the poster she had only had it listed for 10 mins. Since I was the first one to show up at her door.. I got it.:) So the deals are out there.. yea just gotta be fast.

Likewise, you can buy a partially functioning 6800 off ebay and file a claim to get a new one. Get one with a bad keyboard or other issues.

How does that work. I have a Diamond. If I buy a broken Pro and I do an esn swap online, I can send it in to the insurance for a new one??

i think the phone needs to be active for at least 30 days first. correct me if i'm wrong

The phone doesnt have to be new to turn it in? Or bought from Sprint?

If you're dealing with Asurion they couldn't care less about where it came from. If from Sprint they might throw a little fit. If Verizon, they will almost always trip about it...

No Insurance on my end...also on $30 Sero plan and out of contract. I dont want to lose that, so I cant upgrade through Sprint. I just cant believe people are asking so much...still. I wouldnt even want to get rid of my 6700 except I am interested in the GPS...
