Not dialing 911
 

I have the XV6800 with Iphone dialer theme. The problem I have is that when I enter 911 and press the dial button nothing happens and the phone locks up for about 30sec. Anyone know why?

It is a gsm dialer and ur phone is cdma... why are you calling 911???

He must have seen your parents driving and using their phones when they read your message... lol :)

No, I witnessed a car accident, and needed to call 911. What do you mean by a gsm dialer and a cdma?

That dialer is not compatible for dialing 911. Get a different one if you want 911 abilities.

I use the Diamond Dialer, but you bring up a good point. I never actually test if 911 works when I modify the phone. The worst thing that I can see happening is not being able to dial 911 when I actually need it because I hacked my phone.

Definitely seems like something to test. Does your 911 work?

Yes, it now does. I'm using Diamondish dialer and it's working great.
