help updating alltel mogul trying to put dcd 3.3.4 on it
 

I installed the latest released alltel rom on the phone first. I am trying to put nuespl-2.47 on the phone. From what I have read this is needed in order to put dcd 3.3.4 on it.

When I try to install the nuspl 2.47 it starts with the warning and checks the card etc.. I agree/continue.. it reboots but does not prompt me to hit power to install.. is there something I am doing wrong?

sounds like to me that you are just unlocking the phone and not actually installing a new rom yet

that is right, any ideas why it won't unlock? need to unlock before I can install the new rom from what I understand. thanks

yes this is true. try oilipro 2.40 i believe not the one before that. and it does the same as the nuespl. just load it from your pc instead, and i have ran the 3.3.4 with the oilipro.
