Data connection not working
 

Sorry for this probably noobish question but here it is

I unlocked my ppc 6800 using nuespl and installed the new sprint rom to get the windows mobile 6.1 and the gps working, after that i downloaded the USCC carrier cab and installed that. Everything works except for the dial up phone connection to the internet. Ive tried setting up a new dial up connection with all the same numbers and names from my old settings, but it keeps coming up "cannot verify sprint pcs username blah blah blah"

has anyone else run into this, is there a way to fix it? Is there a Different Better rom i should install (i didnt feel like building my own).

Please help me out i use this thing to google maps since i have to drive everyday at work and its killing me not having.

Ya had the same pob.. Just fix it. this is what i did and it worked.

start<programs<file explorer<my device<windows
tap on EPST file. (should be the 28b one if you have 2)
Choose View
tap view info (left soft key)
tap M.IP Settings

The following should match,

M.IP SETTINGS

Number of Profiles : 6
Active User Profile Index : 0
MIP_MODE : Mobile IP Prefered
MIP Registration Retries : 1
MIP Registration Retry Timeout : 2000 ms
MIP Pre-Registration Timeout : 3
Mobile Node-HA Authentication : Enable
Send a Registration Request Only in Use : Enable
Dormant Hanfoff Optimization: Enable

If it does not match. do..

start<programs<file explorer<my device<windows
tap on EPST file. (should be the 28b one if you have 2)
Choose EDIT
type oooooo
tap view info (left soft key)
tap M.IP Settings

Now edit to above.
you have to hold down on what you want to edit...
