XV6800-MR2 Available - What is this Upgrade?
 

I haven't had success in getting an answer to this question. This past Tuesday I went to the PCD site, what used to be the UTSTAR.com site, and found that there is a new upgrade for the Verizon XV6800. The problem is there's very little about what this upgrade does and what gets changed. Does anyone know what this upgrade does to the phone? I don't want to change what I've got if it's of no use to me. Thanks in advance for any input.

If you're happy with your ROM it's not worth it.

Yeah because last time VZW release an 'upgrade' it 'broke' all of the GPS in the ppls phone who used it. Eventually they got around it but there were a ton of threads and lots of angry people over it for some time so be leary and be careful. I agree with MyObvious
