Give me a bit, I'll see what happens. I flashed my first ROM at 3 AM yesterday, done 4 more since then, even screwed up a couple of my own. still able to get my phone back, so if this screws up....oh well, I'll go back to a saved ROM I have. Will let you know my inexperienced thoughts in a few

Don't know what that ROM is supposed to change from GaMedic's ROM. I had GaMedic's ROM loaded prior to running DCD's. Had to go through the setup screen again, and all my contacts/txt's were erased. But when looking around, everything was identical to GaMedic's ROM. The only thing I can think of is that something didn't go through as planned.

One note that may be rather important: This loads using the RUU method. After automatically going into the boot loader, and asking to press the pwr button to begin install, the progress bar comes up on both the phone and the computer. after ~15% progress, the computer says connection was lost. While the phones still continues progress on the OS (Connection "lost" after Splash 1 & 2 upload "OK", but before OS finishes loading.) Will try again in a minute.

I think GaMedic created his roms from a DCD base.

Mental note for newer users....Prior to Flashing a ROM via the RUU method, remove your SD card if you have a ROM on it titled TITAIMG.nbh....the RUU method will send you to the boot loader screen, but it loads the ROM from the SD card.

Long and short....I'm an idiot! ](*,)DCD's ROM is on now, there was no step to "Press power button to begin..." Going through the setup proccess, will let y'all know my thoughts.

Okay, that didn't take long. This ROM is VERY bare bones. It looks to be an ideal platform for adding in your own little tweaks one file at a time.

It is built on the 21014 DCD Build. So I currently have ROM: dcd 4.1.0 and Radio: 3.37.75 on my phone. GPS enabled.

This ROM is so basic, it doesn't even have internet browsers on it. He may have it loaded just as a test. If so, as it sits, this ROM is running with out any noticeable glitches.

Im running it right now, its a very fast clean installation. If your looking for something fast check this one out! It does have the most updated version of IE, i dont know why someone said it didnt have a browser....

Sorry, my fault on the IE....I pushed the IE button and nothing happened the first time. It's working now....maybe I just didn't pres it hard enough. I've been up for 48 hours now, so please excuse my lack of functionality.

***Where can I get the PPCKitchen RegEdit only....there is a value in this ROM I need to change to be able to use "start.vzw.com" I want to see if VZ Navigator works with this ROM.

I won't be updating till next week because I need a good rom for traveling this weekend. Then i can give it a try and any problems won't bother me to much. Just curious. Is there a file named VerInfou.dll in the windows directory? The file was missing in 3.3.4.

This ROM was far to basic for what I wanted, I went back to GaMedic's ROM. I had issues recieving SMS messages while typical texts came through fine. No real complaints, I'm just not educated enough yet to tweak it. I'll try it again once I expand my knowledge more. All in all, I'd give it a thumbs up if you're looking for bare bones and know how/where to handle adding in all of the CAB files you want.

After I flashed the new 4.1.0 ROM, everything seemed to be fine except the number 1 button on the dialer keypad disappeared. Has anyone experienced that? Is there a solution for the problem?

Gave it a try, about 23meg on boot. No problem with the dial pad.

Recently, I updated my SPRINT HTC MOGUL PPC-6800 with dcd's titan ROM 4.1.0 but it was a Comm Manager 7-button and I would like to have a Comm Manager 10-buttom.

What cab do you recommend me to install? Kaiser Comm Manager(10 Buttons)?

I tried 4.1.0, but I flashed back to my custom 3.2.6. I like having all my apps and settings after a hard-reset and with no kitchen, I think I will stick with 3.2.6 for right now.

So far no issues running this new ROM. I like having a clean stripped down ROM which this one really is.

Be prepared that some hard resets have been reported. This rom seems to be kinda beta like.

wow...

Started the day by looking somewhat hopelessly for a new ROM (mostly to see if anything will fix my semi-software keyboard woes) and was overjoyed to see this thread title, barely old at all.

Then, upon visiting the site, saw the new version posted just yesterday. Started the download, and when I got back it had failed (horribly slow connection).

But then, when going back to re-get it, saw another NEWER version posted just an hour ago!

Lucky moment.

You may have to MD5 the checksum of what you download. It could be a bad download.

I;m having that same problem as well as not being able to highlight multiple files to delete and/or copy. Anyone know how to get this to work? Im not really liking the new IE browser either, would rather have everything fit the screen. Other than that its a good ROM. Ive only had for about 24 hrs so we'll see if anything else pops up.
