I have a VERIZON XV6800 with a cooked rom and i was trying to downgrade it to the original rom and before i even started to load the new rom it said that error no usb connection so i was like ok i will try again but now my phone wont load the windows no more

i tried hard reset and nothing

the only thing i have is the boot loader it its 2.40 olipro

i tried to reload a rom but it keep saying connection error

Did you try to put the phone into bootloader mode manually?
(i.e. holding the power and camera buttons)

yes i manually went to the boot loader.
(i.e. holding the power and camera buttons)

its a verizon xv6800 and i unlocked it and put a sprint Rom on it so then by mistake i was putting the verizon OEM rom and when i pressed next it just kept saying to wait and the phone shut off and never worked since then.


when i take the batter off and put it back in then turn it on, the only thing comes up is the green light and nothing on the screen.

i can only go to the bootloader screen so does that help in anything?

Are you able to get to the tri colored bootloader screen? If so you should be able to lad a ROM from there.

yes i am able to get the tri color screen but when i try to load a ROM it says Error connection and tell me to make sure the device is connected

so how do i do that?

Try flashing from the storage card:

Put the ROM (TITAIMG.nbh) onto your storage card (must be less than 2GB, FAT32 format). On your device press the power, camera and reset buttons at the same for approx. 2 seconds. You will have a grey screen that asks you to press power button to begin. The flash will take around a minute or so. Once the screen reads update complete you need to press reset and the flash should be complete. Since you flashed a ROM (not a radio) the phone needs to be hard reset. Press the two soft keys on the front of the device (below the send/end keys) and at the same time press reset.

Is the phone unlocked? Also did you upgrade your radio to a GPS enabled radio. You need to have both of those done prior to flashing a custom ROM or you will be back here asking more questions. If so then yes you can use the storage card to flash a new ROM just like canyceguy suggested. That is the easiest solution. If you need a guide I have a pretty good tutorial posted, the link is in my signature. Hope you get it working right soon. Also I might suggest you go to the chat because you will get answers faster.(SOMETIMES)

Also...
I don't know what os you're running, but Vista + active sync/ mobile device center + an outdated 64meg/hz challenged device has been giving me fits. Occasionally I have to reboot the desktop to make everything work. Try putting the phone into bootloader mode, then hard booting the desklaptop.

ok i have the newest SPRINT ROM. i extracted it first to folder on my desktop then copied everything inside the folder to my storage card then put the SD in my phone and went manually to bootloader and it says ( NO IMAGE FOUND)

how do i do that?

You have to use the Singed.nbh file and rename it. You cannot dump everything on the card, it won't work. Who is your provider? You have made referance to Sprint and Verizon but have not been specific that I see. If you have Verizon then do not put the Sprint ROM on your device. You never answered whether or not you have a GPS enabled radio installed either. You have to give us info if you want help. We will be glad to give you answers but we are limited if we don't know specific info.

ok i have a verizon phone but i am using it with sprint network and i already unlocked it and i been using the latest sprint ROM with the GPS enabled.

in the picture are the files that i got from extracting the sprint OEM ROM so which file do i need to rename and which ones that i need copy to my storage card

You need to rename RUU_sighned.nbh to TITAIMG.nbh. Capitalization matters so do it in ALL CAPS! then copy it to the sd card and try the bootloader.... it should update the rom then when it finishes. just soft reset with the stylus in the little hole by the sd card slot.
